Delicious. Great food. We love this restaurant; we can count on an excellent experience every time. We keep coming back.
Edit: It's also great place to have a conversation and catchup with friends, intimate environment and not loud at all. When we are on our way to a show they are reliable to helps us meet our time frame.

I took my spouse here for her birthday and it was great. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was very cozy. Will definitely be back for special occasions.

Great cozy place, menu is short which makes a great experience in every dish. Recommended!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. I can't believe they've been open a year and a half, and tonight was my first visit! Hands down, my new favourite place in Halifax. The atmosphere, the decor, the service and the FOOD! Just incredible. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. 100% recommend!

Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and rested steak. Cacio e pepe was delicious. Servers were friendly and unobtrusive. This is our new favorite local place.

We went to Elliot & Vine for my daughter's shower, a group of 14. The gang at the restaurant treated us soon well. We had a wine tasting and food pairing and a fabulous dinner. Definitely going back, can't wait. Thank you to all of you that made my daughter's night.

We had a wonderful date night at Eliot & Vine! Food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening.

Super ignorant staff
The entire restaurant was empty they told us we couldn’t come in and eat unless we make a reservation because it will get busy in 40 mins? ? And they spoke super rudely to us even though they didn’t have one person in the place
The waiter who acted like we should just get lost and wouldn’t even offer a spot at the bar which was also empty
Very rude

I was going here for years I literally live across the street and the new staff this summer and year is NOT the same as previous years at all
If ur not loyal to the people who have been coming since day 1 then good luck

Great local spot with a nice vibe.
Seems to be a place to frequent for locals like a go to spot vibe.
Cozy chairs and great food presentations and their shuck a buck deal during happy hour is amazing. Sadly the time we ordered oysters there weren't shucked fully and a bit mangled. All tasted the same though.
The bread for the steak tartare was a bit too overpowering for my liking. You could really taste the steak though.
The tuna tartare was good, definitely more like tuna sashimi with toppings though.

Another MUST visit if you are in Halifax! Had the lamb shank with Indian biryani rice and tzatziki - it was AMAZING! Wonderful service and lovely patio~
Update to this review having gone again a year later: unfortunately the once tasty, flavourful dishes are no more. Bland, unappetizing, and neither my partner nor I could finish out dishes.

I really love it here - the cocktails are great and the food is well made. I was pleasantly suprised to find out that it's a nice restaurant that has nice things but still aims to make people comfortable (rather than stiff or too fancy for a non-occasion meal). If you miss the happy hour, they have this small-batch alcoholic iced tea from Coldstream that's quite tasty and the same price as the happy hour drinks!
