From the moment I walked in, Meagan was amazing! She got me in quickly after a cancellation and then took great care of me at my appointment time. All of the team that interacted with were extremely helpful and fun!

I went into Fyi Doctors looking for a new pair of glasses, and ended with 3…! To say the service here is incredible is an understatement. All of the staff are incredible and very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my experience here and return to this location any time to obtain a new pair of glasses my optician Kristin was phenomenal.she was extremely helpful and seem to really know her stuff. Thank you FYI doctors and I’ll see you again in future.

Amazing place, I came in with two pairs of broken glasses and both were fixed beautifully right away and were practically brand new. I don't know the name of the girl who helped me but she was very qualified and did an amazing job. I'm so glad to have switched to this location.

Where to start….

1 - Once the clinic opened after the COVID lockdown, I submitted an appointment request online through their website to get a scratched lens replaced. Still haven’t heard back from that request. I sent an email on July 2nd, and still haven’t heard back from anyone. Ended up going to another optician, was able to walk in the same day, and they happily replaced my lenses (at my expense of course – I was the one who scratched the lens and didn’t expect Family Vision to absorb the cost).

2 – I purchased my first pair of anti-fatigue lenses (progressive lenses) in January. Went back a few weeks later as I wasn’t able to get text to focus quite right when reading. Staff assured me that this was normal and brushed me off. After getting my replacement lenses from another clinic, reading text is 1000 times better than the lenses I purchased from Family Vision that were “normal”. When purchasing the glasses in January, the optician didn’t bother to fit the frames on my face before taking the measurements for the progressive lenses. I have one ear that is fairly lower than the other, so of course the progressive portion of the lenses aren’t going to line up allowing me to focus when the measurements were done with the frames sitting very crooked on my face.

3 – After the COVID lockdown lifted, Family Vision didn’t post their new procedures of requiring an appointment to step foot into their store (well, there was a link on their website, but it didn’t actually work). I tried to stop by the clinic and saw the sign posted that an appointment was required. No issues there. At the same time, I saw another gentleman pounding on the door shouting “I have an appointment but no phone to call to check in”. Staff inside just ignored him, and avoided any eye contact. I get that the COVID era has caused a lot of stress and tension, especially for those working customer service directly with the public, but the 3 staff members lack of response to this gentleman was shocking.

Thankfully my new optician was excellent. It was such a difference purchasing new lenses from him vs from Family Vision. He took the time to triple check both my PD and the progressive lens measurements. And when picking up my new lenses from my new optician, he took the time to ensure the frame fit perfectly on my face, that I was happy with the lenses, and didn’t have any further questions unlike the Family Vision optician I saw in January who I felt just tried to rush me out the door.

Family Vision on Nine Mile Drive Larry Uteck has left me with nothing but smiles!

I went through a nightmare of an experience at another clinic and the staff here with ZERO hesitation provided me with the utmost care. This clinic truly understands the words Customer Service. However, that still doesn't do them justice. Their opticians and physician went above and beyond to ensure I was nothing but satisfied and reassured with my eye test, my prescription, the health of my eye and my new lenses. A special shoutout to Hannah and Dr. Farrag for their one on one service.
I will not bore you with all of the details I was going through with my eyes and basically begging to be seen at this other clinic.what's important was that I wasn't even a client with Family Vision, but as soon as they caught wind of what I was going though, they reached out to me and offered me full, selfless and dedicated service. Lets just say.they gained a forever client and I will continue to promote this company and their incredible staff.

Can't say it enough, THANK YOU!

Extremely bad.they push you to get extra features saying you can remove them if you don’t like it.but they don’t let you.

My recent experience with Family Vision Clinic in Bedford was so excellent. I have my regular glasses with progressive lenses for everyday use. But I needed a special pair for using while on my computer and while using my sewing machine (I sew for most days every day). The staff there were so friendly and helpful and fitted me with my special glasses that I now can use comfortably, (my neck thanks you,) while I pursue my hobbies-sewing and computer. All done for me at little cost. I will definitely be going back in January for my regular, every two year check-up, and getting my new glasses for everyday use.

From the moment you walk into Family Vision Clinic you are one of the "Family. " Dr. Farrag is concise, professional and knowledgeable. She is truly an asset to this clinic. Jenna (optician) can handle any problem that you can throw at her concerning your glasses. Two truly remarkable and experienced women. There is no other vision clinic I would ever consider going to. 10/10 for this talented team!

Over the phone they took the time discuss my situation, provide my options, called the manufacturer to see what they could do to help, and took my order. All within a very short period of time! Great job!
