My friends and I got manicures (they had their birthdays the week before) and the service was wonderful. Quick, professional, and so well done that they're still going strong a week later (I'm rough on my nails). Thank you, Fancy Nails crew!

I recently went her to get a manicure and was greeted by an elderly man. I’m sorry to sound like I’m judging but I was surprised when he told me he was doing my nails. I politely asked how long he has been doing this for, and he replied “years. ” I felt a little relieved. Tho he was very sweet, his hands were very dirty making me feel uncomfortable when giving him my hand. When cutting my nails the skin was ripped twice around my cuticles, then I was instructed to soak my hand in the dirty water that my nail trimmings were in. When removing my old nail polish I was cut by the nail drill and the nail polish job was thick and very layered. Im not writing this to diss your business but to help improve customer experience. I was really upset. You set that poor man up for failure and it costed me $75. Im very disappointed and will not be returning. The only positive thing was he cut my nail very evenly.

I called and scheduled an appointment - which was confirmed for 4: 50 today. When I Ubered there, the store was closed and no one was answering the phone. Do not recommend.

Positives: Really nice staff & clean salon.
Negatives: Got an acrylic full set ($93 including tax and tip) - acrylic was poorly applied and too thin; a lot of buffing, sanding and filing needed. Because of the poor acrylic application the polish isn't 100% smooth and doesn't fill the nail properly (I can see my bare nail on the sides of 4 of my fingers). Honestly if the price had been closer to $50 I wouldn't care but I expect my nails to look better than good press-ons/diy for the price paid.

They’re the best nail salon in HRM and I’ve tried most of them. I won’t go anywhere else.
