Fisherman's Cove Heritage Centre

Took my 6 yr old grandson who enjoyed all of the ship rigging & loved seeing the real life scale of a heron & osprey up close.

Loved the place. Bought souvenirs and took pictures. Also loved the colourful stores lined up on the street. They looked like little houses. They're beautiful. And each one has its unique display of crafts, clothes, and arts. I enjoyed browsing through them.

Nice little fishing village so close to the city. There are several interesting shops still open in October.

Beautiful wee spot with great views of Halifax across the bay.
They were having a pirate/music weekend, which was very entertaining. The little stores along the front were whimsical and staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Boondocks restaurant was amazing, Food was excellent, my waitress Mia was great.
Only down side was the overwhelmingly fishy smell at the north end.
The boardwalk was lovely to walk along, be careful of a few loosening boards though.
Will definitely go back before the summer ends.

Fisherman's Cove is a very scenic place, with lots of cute little painted cabins and such.but we went there expecting a bit more, like entertainment or fiddle music or costumed interpreters, or more selection of shops. Still to give its credit due, it does evoke a certain ambiance and the views across the water are lovely.

Great shops with local art, fun home decor and a variety of other treasures and lots of places to grab some food!

Great stop along the eastern passage. Nice little shops and good place for snacks and food.

Cute shops, nice view. Wade in the ocean at low tide! Enjoy an ice cream on the boardwalk. Fabulous way to spend a couple of hours on the edge of Dartmouth! Free admission.

Pretty meh if I'm honest. Some interesting arts and crafts and the shacks are colourful, but very small and the rest of eastern passage is just an ordinary town.

Grandfather got grant to get this little fishing village and shacks all re done to turn it into what it is today. Beautiful.

I feel that it is over rated. It's a small area with just shops and tourists. It stated that it is an old fishing village from the 1800s but I did not get that particular feel. It does not compare to Peggy's Cove or Lunnenburg. Prices are also high.

Offer free Wi-Fi with a nice calm harbour view, priceless. Relaxing. Public parking. Over night wifi (cant get wifi just anywheres in the middle of the night)

Always a must stop when I visit my aunt and uncle. Love going there, a little shopping and a great lunch. The shops are unique and amazing finds. What makes me feel good is all of their goods are made locally, be by amazing young kids. Can't think of a better reason to shop there

Very unique little shops to buy handmade items (whale tail hooks, glass dream catchers, paintings, jewelry and more!) and it's not very expensive. Not always open yr round, so check before going.

Love taking the wife to Fisherman's Cove. We usually go to Coffee, Tea and Sea and really enjoy the food there.

Beautiful oceanfront spot in Eastern Passage, N. S, for local boutique shopping, fresh-from-the-ocean fish n'chips or a walk along the boardwalk.
