FlowEdge Riverside Getaway

My husband and I went on our honeymoon at the Flowedge riverside getaway and it was absolutely phenomenal! The domes themselves are impeccable, the people who run the domes are so sweet and helpful, and the location is close to stores. All in all we still can’t get over how incredible this place and the people who run it were. Thanks to them for making our honeymoon definitely one to remember. We plan to be back! (As a side note they also sell delicious farm fresh eggs)

"I stayed at the Airbnb in Middle Musquodoboit on September 3rd, 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The biggest issue was the complete lack of Wi-Fi, which made it impossible to stay connected with my friends and prevented us from enjoying any entertainment during our stay. Despite trying to connect multiple times, the Wi-Fi simply did not work, leaving us with a very boring and disconnected night.

Moreover, there was no interaction with the host to address this issue or provide any assistance. This lack of communication left us feeling stranded with no solution to our connectivity problem.

Overall, I was disappointed with my stay due to the non-functional Wi-Fi and the absence of host communication. I hope these issues can be addressed in the future to provide a better experience for guests. "

Amazing getaway, very private, relaxing and cozy space. Host was very informative, polite and responsive for anything we needed for our stay! Would highly recommend for a night away!

Wish we couldve stayed longer! We spent our last night of our Nova Scotia roadtrip here in preparation for our departure home the following morning. I have never stayed in a space like this before. Super cool! Like being in space! But in the woods on a river! Extremely well appointed. The owners did a lovely job outfitting the domes. Extremely comfortable! We slept with the shades open and woke up to the most vivid hidef morning in the trees. Would like to wake up like this everyday! Like I said, wish we couldve stayed longer to take advantage of the amenities! You should go!

Everything was flawless from the design/aesthetic, comfort, and thoughtful touches to the ease of communication with the property. Wifi was great and even though it was super hot in July during our visit, temperature was nice and cool in the dome.

We were in desperate need of a little getaway to recharge and refresh, and Flow Edge provided relaxation in excess. It was one of the best weekends away I have ever had.

The location is perfect as it was not too far from the city if we needed anything, but the dome was so well-stocked we did not need to leave. Even though we knew the dome next door was occupied, they are spaced enough away that we did not hear our neighbours.

We were blown away by the thought and care that went into the design of the domes. The high end finishes, the tasteful and soothing décor, even the flow to the space felt intuitive.

It was breathtaking to have dinner together and watch deer eat theirs mere feet away from us. The hammock was perfect for reading in the sunshine. We spread out on blankets and pillows and had a picnic under the trees for lunch.

The wood-fired hot tub was a huge treat! It was easy to operate and we spent hours dipping in and out of it to relax and enjoy each other's company under the stars. Bring flip-flops to walk to and from the tub, and maybe a very chilled wine or craft cider to complete the experience.

The whole stay was one we will cherish. We cannot wait to come back throughout the seasons to enjoy the different experiences. We loved listening to the gentle sound of rainfall the first evening, but the sunshine and warm weather really made our experience shine. We will be coming back in winter to enjoy the snowy white winter landscape under the plush blankets on the cozy bed.

We spent two lovely nights in this little slice of Heaven! The hosts were wonderful, communicative, and a pleasure to interact with.

From the moment we entered the space it was cozy, clean, and relaxing. The propane fireplace kept us toasty as we sat in the rocking chairs and enjoyed the view of the river. The sound of the rainfall was so beautiful the night we arrived.

The full kitchen was very convenient and provided all the basic amenities. The waterfall shower, which came equipped with the same river view, was incredibly enjoyable!

The cedar, fire-heated hot tub was an added luxury, and when combined with a view of the night sky and the stars was stunning!

What a wonderful place to unwind and soothe the soul. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys camping but with a luxurious twist!

I cannot wait to return and experience this place during some other seasons!

We were so impressed from the moment we drove in. Huge outside deck, wood fired hot tub, overlooking the river - I can only imagine the beauty in summer! The inside was spotless, very warm (Feb), heated floors, and so many unique features! We woke up to 6 white-tailed deer in front of our window, overlooking the river. Great touch with the basket of games. Good cell signal, and so so quiet.

I have been here a few times and loved every second! If you want peace quiet, great people and a unique architecture set in a classic Nova Scotia countryside this is the place for you. 1 hr from Halifax and you're in complete freedom! The hot tube is amazing! The fire pits outside and fireplace inside give you warmth in all seasons! You just can't beat this place! I plan to go back every summer!

We loved our stay in this beautiful dome. Everything was beautifully decorated and cozy. The hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Highly recommend waking up as the sun is rising so you can see the mist rising from the river, it is spectacular. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. It was nice and warm with the wood fireplace. We loved the high quality fixtures, and thoughtful additions like the extremely cozy beanbag that unfolded to create a soft and comfortable mattress for my child - he just loved sleeping on it - and the board games.

Everything was above and beyond gorgeous. Beth and Lydia have thought of everything.
Very impressed that there was an EV charger. We didn't need it, but it points to their attention to detail.
The hammock was the perfect spot to enjoy a sunny fall afternoon and start the journey of disconnecting from the world.
The inside of the dome is decorated to a very high standard. Closing the custom made curtains at night was a breeze.
We thoroughly enjoyed the propane fireplace, as well as sitting in the chairs watching the sun come up. It was absolutely stunning to watch the sun come through the trees in the morning.
The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on in an AirBnb.
The very comfy robes made going to the wood fired hot tub easy.
Being able to turn on the heated floors by touching the mirror!
Even the towels and hair dryer were top quality.
We thoroughly enjoyed making the fire for the hot tub. This was one of the unique features that drew us to the dome.
The hosts checked in on Saturday just to make sure we had enough wood.
We also liked that there was no TV. It was great to disconnect from the world and totally relax.
We even had the pleasure of seeing several deer during the weekend.
