Great experience with purchase from Freedom Kayak. Bob worked with us to find the right fit and also provided us an awesome price. We also bought some kayak accessories from his reccomendations to make us more safe. Bob and Dena provided some great tips as well.

My brother, Art and I just purchased two beautiful Dagger Stratos 14.5 kayaks. Bob and Dena were a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and have a great selection of kayaks. If you are a beginner kayaker or advanced Bob is the man to see. Thank You Bob & Dena for the great service.

We've purchased three kayaks from Bob and Dena and been very happy with their service.
The first was a few years ago: we couldn't find any major retailers with inventory of the tandem kayak we wanted. At first we weren't sure about this company that was offering parking lot pickups in Halifax, but wow they were great. We arrived to pickup that kayak with really cheap J-hooks on our vehicle. We struggled to get the kayak up there securely (with little kids getting impatient). Bob helped out by showing us that we were better off without those particular J hooks (we returned them the next day) - he sold us a much less expensive and better-for-us set of tie down straps. He taught us to properly secure the big kayak to the roof racks. We've been all over NS and on three trips to Newfoundland with that kayak and those straps.
Then, this past fall, that kayak and my second hand Riot Edge were stolen from our backyard. Police couldn't find them. After months of checking no major retailer had inventory of the Pelican Argo XP, even this spring. (We could only find the lower end one with the hard plastic seats—at that Tire place). Bob and Dena to the rescue. They brought in the tandem we wanted from Ontario and they already had the perfect replacement kayak for me in their inventory (a brand new Riot Edge 13). Met them in Bedford twice over the past month to pickup those kayaks and found them just as efficient and kind as the first time. If I'm in the market for a kayak again, I won't even bother checking any major retailers - I'll go straight to these people.

My boyfriend and I were looking for new kayaks for the summer, in Pictou. Bob helped us pick out kayaks based on our experience and budget. We were able to see what we were getting, and they were delivered to us later that day. The customer service was amazing, and the price was extremely fair. Great place if you're looking for a kayak for the summer!

It was great. They were able to get the kayak I had been looking for (, for weeks.). They made delivery easy & in a timely manner. I am extremely impressed with their quality of service.
I would recommend them, (in fact I am telling all my friends about them now). I will try them first for my next purchase. They are friendly & give excellent service.

Excellent customer experience! Called inquiring about 2 kayaks and had them delivered the same day. Owner very knowledgeable and helpful with the decision making process.

Great people and very knowledgeable especially for me a beginner who knows little to nothing regarding kayaking. I highly recommend seeing these guys I’ll be getting other things in time here where they don’t push things but give you the info to make an informed decision. Great place.

Great experience with buying my first fishing kayak. Bob is outstanding and super friendly/helpful in terms of availability and providing reliable information. Would always recommend!
