Fricker's Furry Friends Dog Grooming

I had my 25 lb Labradoodle groomed here three times. The price is very good, however the groom has been mediocre. I was okay with this until I walked in to pick up my dog, only to hear the groomer shouting. As I reached the bottom of the stairs, Jaimie was extremely curt, asking me to come hold my shaking and terrified dog, and announcing that there was some matting on my dog’s chest and tail. She proceeded to hastily clip away at her tail leaving it quite long and choppy (I had specifically asked that it be shorter to avoid matting). I was already aware that there was minor matting on her chest but what can you expect from a doodle in the summer time! I brush her regularly and previously had her groomed every 11 weeks. I couldn’t believe the rudeness and unprofessional behaviour. I’m so unimpressed and I will not be returning.

Been going to Jamie for years! Always great service and amazing with dogs. Would give 6 stars if possible.

My Aussie has always hated the groomers, after doing some research I came across Fricker’s Furry Friends, I scheduled the appointment for a Bath and Tidy, it was super easy as she worked with my schedule. She does one dog at a time which is perfect for my dogs needs. I recommend this place over any groomer in HRM!

The one and only grooming place we can take our dogs too. Our shih tzus are very difficult to groom and Jamie always manages to get the job done extremely fast. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Jamie if your dog dislikes hair cuts! My shih-tzu is a loving boy until the clippers come out. Jaime gets the job done!
