Fundy Tidal Interpretive Centre

Great lookout right above the river. There's a representative posted at the lookout who points out changes in the river and answers questions. She had us all laughing and engaged.

Come and go as you please. The tides rises over the course of an hour.

Great little info center. Helpful and informative staff, nice display, and short walk to an overlook where a railroad bridge used to be.

Linda was a great guide and full of excellent information on local things to do and places we could visit to help us enjoy various levels of the tides and see the bore.

The height of the wave that can be observed here depends heavily on the phase of the moon. If you go there you should first take a look at the lunar calendar!
According to Linda, the highest waves can be observed during the new moon!

It was a pretty cool spot. No washrooms available as it the building was closed for the season. I also got to learn about the Black Duck that makes it home there. That water was pretty because it was so different from anything I've ever seen.

The young fellow in the visitor centre here was phenomenal when we visited in July. He has so much passionate information and was very helpful and descriptive during the tidal bore viewing.

Be certain to stop here before seeing the Bay of Fundy. They know all about where to eat and what's open when.

Great displays inside the centre. There is also a vintage Caboose with information on the old train bridge that used to run across the bay. The looks off further down the path has a great view of the bay and is a good location for pictures.

This place alot better then moncton to watch the fundy tides. Believe me check it out you will be amazed your self

Although we didn't see the big bore we were wishing for. It still was a great experience watching the bore over take the river. And because the docents were so knowledgeable we learned a lot about Fundy bay and tides in general.

The tidal bore was interesting to watch but if you want excitement you'll need to go on one of the boat tours

Lots of parking, even for large RV's. A very knowledgeable staff, great displays, very informative. Be aware, the heights of the tidal bore is relative to the moon, as is the times of tide coming in and going out. Go to the website for the best times to go. A great viewpoint.
