Giant Tiger

The manager of this store behaves very badly with customers and is unable to solve problems. I will never come back this store.

At cash register there was an issue that it wouldn't allow me to pay. The lady manning the self service came to the rescue. She fixed the problem so I could pay for my purchases. She was very pleasant to deal with.

Clean, friendly staff, shelves are usually well stocked, it just feels a little smaller than the Giant Tiger out in Bayer's Lake.

Good quality items like clothes for adults and kids. Some paintings as well and grocery items for the family.

Some decent prices there. The store is very old, and customer service is below zero with some terrible employees.

This is a convenient and reasonable grocery market in the Fairview, Halifax. I think it just seems like a micro Walmart. It's budget-saving to buy some cheap but good stuff which has shorter life-lasting time to decorate home. Personally, I would enjoy shopping in the store with a cozy imagination of my dream home.

The big reason I shop at Giant Tiger on Dutch Village rd is that the crowds are small, the staff are most helpful and the biggest reason is the prices are reasonable.

Like most Giant Tigers in Halifax, the store is surprisingly large on the inside, offering a healthy mix of clothing, bedding, and grocery departments. The modest fresh grocery section is particularly good, especially serving the local community. A nice neighborhood department store.

The store could use a make over.staff wasn't overly friendly or inviting, obviously just a job for them.

Good place to buy groceries and clothing under one roof. Every week deals are on special items.

Great store except the entrance and exit are well guarded by the biggest dip in the road I ALWAYS scrape my car's nose coming and going.and limit my visits because of it.

Deals are good, staff are slow.they all seem blah.the prices are pretty good there, they do price match. Whenever you do a return watch out, the cashiers seem to take it quite personal.

Fix your code machines and stop ringing up items twice. Always 1 for the price of 2 with this place

My family takes so long in this store. I just want to leave but they need to walk around the store over and over again. We never end up buying anything either.

My first visit to this store. I was pleasantly surprised. Merchandise okay and staff very friendly to deal with.

I get most of my clothes from here. Some are high quality and last me a long time but sometimes I get something that falls apart or doesn't fit correctly dispite it being my size! I bought a pair of leggings and the seam had a small hole I didn't notice when I bought them. And finally, I find there staff to be quite rude or rather unfriendly I guess. Would give 3 stars but I love most of my clothes I buy from there.

My favourite store for everything! Their newest Nova Scotia store just opened in Bayer's Lake. Their opening specials are great but I will shop here, no matter what. Their clothes are reasonably priced from enfants to plus sizes. Curtains, towels, household goods to the great variety of food, fresh and frozen. Make Giant Tiger your ho to store!

Small but good giant tiger. Pleased to see they have added a fresh meat section, good to see some competition for the nearby superstore.

Best experience since arriving in Canada. So cheap, literally everything you need and the service was incredible. The lady who served us was so friendly and ready to help. 10/10 recommend

I enjoy the store. Prices are pretty good too. Comparable to Walmart and dollarama for pricing. And quality like Walmart.

Mostly the products are cheaper here both in terms of money and quality. But milk is more expensive.

Tight parking. Not as spacious as some other GT stores I've seen, and doesn't have the greatest selection sometimes.

Used to be good when first opened but products have changed. They got rid of giant Tiger and replaced with more expensive products. No one who works there seems very happy working there

Certainly a good place if you want curtains, sheets and smocks for cheap. However, I recently had to take an item back to exchange after I realized I had purchased the wrong size and the staff was very abrasive and made me feel uncomfortable. I had the receipt and had only purchased the item the day before so I dont see why they had to make me feel bad about it.
