Their brands of chocolate like brandy beans and licorice allsorts are terrible as they are all dried out.

Great prices on home goods like curtains, rods and small appliances. Also has some nice clothing finds

Giant Tiger has some really great deals. One I can think of is their mushrooms, the regular price is $1.44. They have good prices on sausages and all kinds of other frozen food. They don't carry everything but what they do carry is often really worth the visit.

Food section was smaller than I thought, with limited selection, but it’s not a grocery store. Price seems ok, if you don’t mind smaller packaging. Shrinkflation?

I used to give it lower stars because sometimes it took a while to get through the checkouts because of customers wanting to return things and stuff but now that they have self checkouts too, v5 stars.

They have unique products and the staff are always helpful even though that one guy always looks cranky

I've noticed I'm not always able to find things for my kids like cloths not sure why but sometimes they have what I need

Nice store to shop in good variety of items just wish they had a larger section for woman's plus sizes

Really starting to love this place, food clothes and nick Nicky stuff. It's canadian too. Normally I wouldn't buy clothes here but.some cute things.

While in the store I listened to the spiel played in store about how Giant Tiger is taking steps to ensure public safety during Covid. Then I saw a young woman shopping without a mask. When approached by staff member they giggled during their exchange and the woman continued on her way! She was a young, healthy, mobile individual, can't fathom what her excuse could have been!
Now NS has mandated mask wearing in public places. It's no different than stores requiring shirts and shoes worn while shopping!
I promptly left the store. I will not support an establishment that does not enforce NS Health!

I usually love going to this Giant Tiger.they have a good selection of items and they also have nice plants from time to time. It can get quite busy and they don't always have lots of aisles open.

If questionable produce and defective products is what your looking for this is your store. Beware of a manager named Kelly. She freaked out when confronted with a store problem. I'll never be back. Walmart is a a much better run store

The prices are getting a bit too high. With not many people out buying the vegetables are going bad.

Extremely disappointed! I bought a subway gift card from giant tiger for a Christmas gift and even though I have the receipt and the activation receipt the card is useless due to the scanning of the wrong bar code. After 3 trips to the Bridgewater giant tiger there apparently is nothing they can do. I also bought another gift card at the same time and it was sent to BC and I am just hoping that it wasn’t a wasted gift as well.
Will never buy another gift card from there and will caution others that do!

They have a variety of clothing, housewares, childrens toys, the latest gadgets, a grocery store, artwork, new things that are advertised on television and cigarettes.

The fruit is always so bruised and unable. I complained to the actually fruit company and they said it was from store over piling and not rotating the fruit. It may seem like saving at the time but the waste is more than the savings.

Prices are good for the value you get. Store is designed so you get to see most of what they offer on the way to the checkouts.
