GoodLife Fitness Halifax Barrington Place

Just started going here a few months ago. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. I always look forward to my morning workout before work and this place has lots of good equipment. Not usually overly busy when I go so no long waits for equipment. Place is very clean too.

Fantastic place; staff treat you well and it's never busy! Gym has a cozy home feel to it, highly recommend.

Staff is amazing - manager elena, simar, pam, spencer everyone is great. This gym is nice but not big as other locations. The only thing not to like is the prices (goodlife is overpriced) i wish they could extend their hours, close very early on weekends

I have been working out at GoodLife Fitness since a nice long time. It hasn’t been fun lately. But I have great experience with Barrington place location. Staff is amazing, specially Simer, Yum and Pam. Looking forward for more best days!

Despite being in the basement and attached to a hotel, it’s a good gym and I usually find a free bench or squat rack most of the time. In fact, it’s ultra-convenient because the hotel doesn’t have a very good gym.

The machines are all squished together due to its small floor plan. Always have to wait for machines and weights. Opens late and closes early

I like this location a lot because it's conveniently located however I wish they stayed open later, most goodlifes in other provinces are open 24 hours or atleast until 10/11pm

The music in the women’s change room is way too loud! It always gives me a headache after getting changed

These guys have been absolutely amazing to us.
Liam, the young man working the front desk has been such a blessing to our family unit.
We were affected by the flood and have no proper cleaning water still, and he's been our main go to Ina time of need.
We essentially just need to be able to shower and get clean, and he's been so helpful in allowing us to use the showers and stay clean.
It's people like this that give me more hope in humanity.
We do intend on getting setup with a membership soon, but it's just been a tough spot for us at the moment, but we are eternally grateful for the kindness that has been shown at this facility.
It's clean and the staff have been absolutely amazing.
They deserve recognition for their kindness.

To the management there.
Please make sure that man gets some sort of recognition or raise.
Something.
He's made your facility look morally amazing, and it's only drawn us into wanting to participate further and jump on board with them.

I have been to four GoodLife gyms in the HRM now, and Barrington is by far the best of them.

Firstly, it is the cleanest and most organized. The male locker room and gym itself is always clean. Staff are always doing their best to keep that way. If the paper towel dispensers are finished, staff are quick to refill them, if towels are left behind by patrons, staff clean it up in no time. Staff also make sure weights are not unevenly distributed between machines. One staff even polishes the nooks and crannies between dumbbells!

Lastly, the staff are the friendliest. From day one and beyond they have made me feel like I am welcome. Special shoutouts to Nyun, Abby, and Emma. Y’all the goats.

Best GoodLife in the HRM! Always pretty quiet inside even at peak times. Lacks some of the equipment other GoodLifes have but has most of the stuff you could need! The staff is great, and unlike most locations, this one always seems to have an abundance of clean towels. It’s also very very clean, and maintained very well.

Evening staff is so rude the lady used to work in burnside location, i mentioned about her in the burnside location, she is working here now. What do they have to do actually, stand there almost we can see many staff just do nothing can be seen using cell phone and chatting. Except morning staff its great everywhere, management should do something about that.when i enter i dont use fob i usr app, and they looking at me saying okay u can do yourself.what are you here for, first your app has the scan code and your machine so hard to get in. I wish i would never take help from these people standing doing nothing

Was here for the second time the other day and have to say so far the best GoodLife gym, the staff are super friendly and the amount of the equipment is really good. My only complaint and it is really silly but I wish things were all together and not in multiple different locations of the gym
