Grand Banker Bar & Grill

I had wanted one piece of fish and fries and had asked if pan frying would be available. I was told you have to take this other fish dish to get it pan fried, no other way, so I didn't want to make a fuss and ordered the other dish, 8.00 more expensive and the topping on the fish tasted very bitter. Never again like that!

Really enjoyed our dinner here. The service was exceptional. Such fresh seafood at this price point is a 100% winner!

The best seafood I have had since living in B. C.
The scallops in the Acadian Cajun stew were perfect: I have never had better.
Like all the places we have been to in Lunenburg, the service was friendly and accommodating.

Food is excellent, and it's right on the waterfront, very close to the biggest parking lot of the town. Must try place. Fish and chips was my favorite.

Very polite and friendly waitress. Food was delivered in a timely fashion, tasted good too! Sat outside, probably a mistake, quite small patio area with patrons coming and going all the time, but hey ho, my fault!

Great views and really good food. Best fish cakes I’ve ever had.

Service was nice enough and the indoor space offered pretty good views of the Lunenburg pier.

A little tight for a family of 5.

The staff were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions (gluten free). The fish tasted fresh and we were happy with our meal.

Very oily fish & chip. The oil temperature was probably not high enough. Good lobster roll.

If you’re ever in Nova Scotia, this is a great spot in Lunenberg! They have waterfront views and service was amazing. The lunenburger was very interesting! It was the first burger we had with a beef patty and lobster in it! It was also topped with a delicious scallop wrapped in bacon. Definitely a must-try item!

It was delicious and so filling. Will have it again when I go back.

Wonderful dinner at the Grand Banker tonight! I had the Acadian fish stew,
My wife had the Nova Scotia beef, both were delicious and for dessert the bread pudding was out of this world our server Karen was excellent

Great views of Lunenburg harbor. Good staff, nice ambience. Seafood linguine was absolutely loaded with seafood and was delicious.

We had a family meal here overlooking the ocean. Service was quick and courteous. The seafood was fresh and great (not all the seafood in Nova Scotia is served that way) and we'd come back again.

Overall, the experience was ok.
We were seated on the patio and 2 minutes we were told the patio was closed.
We weren't given menus and had to grab those ourselves.
I had a Banker salad with chicken. It was good.

I ordered the tomato soup, which is supposed to have coconut milk in it. I love coconut milk for homemade curry, so I was excited to taste it in the soup. Unfortunately, it only tastes like tomato and basil (nothing else). So, if you order the tomato soup, ask for extra coconut milk/cream.

First time here after recommendation by some locals.

Arrived to find empty tables but told it would be a 30 minute wait. Ordered drinks at the bar then told table was ready before drinks were ready. We moved to the table and the bartender brought the drinks over.

Had a nice table by the windows overlooking the docks. Service started a bit slow but eventually picked up. It's a little cramped inside and a bit loud. Probably would be nicer with the windows open but might have been closed due to the weather.

Wife ordered the tomato basil soup and the roasted scallops. They came out at the same time. Would have been better to have soup first. That said both had a great flavor.

I ordered the seafood linguine which had plenty of seafood and came out hot. I would order this again. No deserts for us.

Small, busy place. Beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection.
When this place was full it was quite noisy to have a conversation. A screaming child who fortunately left part way through our meal made the place quieter.

Service by our server was exceptional.

We celebrated a friends 50 birthday. The service and food was fantadtic. I had the pan friend hadock and certainly would order again

Very good food, very good service. Prices definitely reflect that it's in a tourism destination though. To get a lobster roll by itself with no sides is 26 dollars. You have to buy a side for 6+ dollars. I would still go back, though. Just not too often.
