Dr knoll and her team were absolutely fantastic. Our son was turned away from another dentist in Dartmouth because he as very nervous about needles and Dr Knoll did not even bat an eye and instead was so helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming and calming upon entering and even with a very nervous boy was all smiles. They explained the procedure completely and everything that would be done. They distracted him with little toys and before we knew it he was as comfortable as he could be to have the procedure done. They were very thorough and on point with their sedation care having him connected to a blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen monitor and covered him with a nice soft blanket even, they let us also come in to see this which as a mom made you actually be able to breath again knowing he was well taken care of. After the procedure we were allowed to come in and be the ones to carry him out and relaxed in a colourful room while he woke up. They explained the post procedure instructions and left no questions unanswered. She even gave him a little chest with his tooth that was extracted for the tooth fairy:) Dr Knoll went above and beyond again when she wheeled him out in a wheel chair her self to our car which he thought was very neat! From the beginning to end we had the uttermost perfect patient care. She was very kind, sympathetic, knowledgeable, very punctual and amazing at her job, even called us that night to see how he was. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who has children with dental issues! Thank you Dr Knoll and team!

The start of the process was ok, discussion with Dr Knoll went well but there were a couple follow up questions. However when I booked for my child for her treatment the reception or dental assistant was cold and very direct.
I had emailed to clarify a couple items that varied from verbal conversation to emailed policies and the reception said they would check with the Dr regarding them, again cold and unfriendly. We discussed the direct questions and I waited for a call back. When I received the call back I was told promptly that the Dr - Dr Knoll would not be treating my daughter and would send the referral back.
I have worked many years in healthcare administration and have never experienced the unprofessional demeanour received from the staff. For a company that handles children for serious health care treatment, I would question whether or not they are capable of providing a safe space for patient, parent and guardians.
Health care is always about understanding and concerns which requires open and honest discussion, empathy and kindness. I feel Dr Knoll has staff that are inadequate of performing at the same level of professionalism she had showed.

Our 5 year-old needed sedation for a few fillings and an extraction. Our experience with Dr. Knoll and her team was fantastic from start to finish. They are wonderful communicators and made sure we were comfortable with the whole process. The treatment was excellent.

Dr. Boutilier at Granville Dental for 10 years and always receive wonderful service. From regular cleanings to extractions, we consider ourselves lucky to be in his care. Staff is amazing and very accommodating.

I took my grandson here for dental surgery, the service received was A1, they treated my grandson so well from start to finish! Awesome team!

My child required sedation to have dental work done. Due to overwhelming anxiety, our (lovely) family dentist tried unsuccessfully to do any sort of exams (let alone a cleaning) so we knew there was going to be work to be done. Dr. Knoll was incredibly kind and patient. She explained things for a 6 year old to understand but not panic. Each staff member we encountered during the procedure had the same kindness and professionalism. This started off as a stressful morning but this team made the world of difference. I won't hesitate to go back! Our child even said that they want Dr. Knoll as their dentist!

Dr. Knoll is friendly, calm, and sensitive. She provides lots of information to help calm anxious parents and age appropriate info to soothe kiddos. The front desk staff is friendly. Overall, it was a really good experience!

Horrible service! Because I canceled an appointment when everything was going on with a certain doctor, who has been charged, they are not willing to see my son now.
The woman on the phone was loud, rude and downright unprofessional

My daughter recently had to undergo dental surgery to have an extraction and to get a few caps. She had to be sedated for this and our visit was very pleasant. They went over everything, administered the medicine while she was on my lap, safely put her in a wheel chair while it kicked in and took her to the chair, they got her ready to go and I was able to go in and see her reassure her that I’m nearby and her procedure was done fairly quickly. She came out happy and didn’t feel a thing. She was a little wonky for about an hour afterwards she had a nap on our way home and was fine by the time we got home, (we are about an hour away from the dental office). The dr called us the evening of her procedure to check in with us and I thought that was nice. In my opinion She’s a very good dentist she made my daughter feel completely safe and comfortable, also made her feel like a superstar afterwards ️ I would definitely recommend 10/10.

I have been a client here probably 12 years. Have always gone to Dr. Bouthillier and the dental assistant, Tracey. My daughter also comes here. I have only good to say about all staff I have ever interacted with. Professional and pleasant. I was a long time becoming comfortable as I do not like the needle one bit but over time I am much better. They are patient and know I get anxious. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out here at a young age and while that isn’t pleasant anywhere you get it done, here, it was handled well and I was pleased with how we were treated.

Dentist was very gentle did not feel rushed and took the time to explain what is best product and methods for proper care.

Dr. Boutilier is a perfect dentist for a skeptical anxious client, such as myself. Highly recommended for expertise and professionalism.

Mi hijo de 6 años tuvo un procedimiento bajo sedación el 23 de Marzo de 2022 y le fue muy bien. Dr Knoll y todo su equipo nos explicaron muy bien cada paso del proceso; mi hijo estuvo super tranquilo, la recuperación fue excelente. Todo el personal es muy atento.
Y hoy 25 de Abril llamé para obtener información sobre un tema específico y me ayudaron de una forma muy amable. Realmente entienden la importancia del servicio al cliente. Los felicito!

My 6 year old son had a procedure under sedation on March 23,2022 and it went very well. Dr Knoll and his entire team explained each step of the process very well; my son was super calm, recovery was excellent. All the staff are very attentive.
And today, April 25, I called to get information on a specific topic and they helped me in a very kind way. They really understand the importance of customer service.

My 4 year old son just had some work done under sedation by Dr. Julie Knoll and her team. We've had the best experience from the time we got referred to her by our family dentist, we got an appointment very promptly. The initial appointment was a phone call and she was very patient, sought to understand my concerns, and explained the process and what to expect very clearly, which was followed by written instructions on what to do on the day of the appointment. Today was our first time there and everyone was so kind and gentle from the time we walked in to the time we left. My son did not complain of any pain and he has no recollection of the procedure, he is just happy that his teeth were fixed:).

Excellent staff and experience. They made the dental work for my son any easy experience and were very kind and informative throughout the process.

Both my daughters have been seen by Dr Knoll, over a year apart for sedation and work. Both treated well, dental work holding up. Great follow up. Very pleased.

Staff was excellent. Clearly love working with children and it shows. Dr. Knoll was extremely thorough and explained the entire process over the phone before the appointment. Entire staff made myself and my son comfortable through the whole process. Dr. Knoll was very unstanding of a previous bad experience we had with another dental clinic for my son and did everything possible to ensure that did not happen again.

10/10 recommend taking your children to see Dr. Knoll for any dental related issues that require sedation. My daughter (4yr old) had her first ever molar extraction with sedation done by Dr Knoll and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My daughter was so comfortable and didn’t shed a single tear the entire visit, Dr Knoll and her co-workers made the environment super fun and friendly, we were in and out within 35 minutes with a happy little girl who didn’t remember any part of the visit other than the fun toys she received in the beginning. Highly recommend.

Always such great care for my children here. Dr. Julie is the best! Great at explaining the process and making sure everyone is comfortable.

Dr Boutilier has been my doctor for many years. His expertise and caring are amazing. I would recommend him and his staff highly.

Granville Dental was very easy to find. The waiting rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly to my daughter and myself. The follow-up phone call was helpful and informative.

From the referral process to the consult to the actual appointment and surgery, Granville Dental and especially Dr. Julie Knoll was amazing. They called almost immediately when they got the referral, they actually listened when I told them how much pain my child was in, they gave us an appointment for a consult and surgery date (that really weren't that far away to begin with), then put us on the cancelation list for both. We weren't supposed to have our consult until next week and then surgery 2 weeks after that. We ended up with a cancelation for the consult on Tuesday of this week and had the surgery on Thursday of this week.
They were kind, so sweet, Dr. Julie was patient with my kiddo, took time to chat and make her feel comfortable. She was in and out of surgery within a half hour, and we were on our way back home less than 2 hours after we got there.
Then she called the night of the surgery to make sure everything was ok.
I'd highly highly recommend this place for anyone who's kiddos need dental work done. 10 out of 10!

Two of my children have had work done by Dr Knoll and it has been such a great experience both times. The staff are great at calming anxious kids (and moms) and Dr Knoll does great work.

My daughter needed some extensive work on her teeth which required her to be sedated. I was so scared because it was her first ever procedure.

The staff was SO amazing and kind to me and my daughter.

They really did an amazing job with her teeth and her overall care and I HIGHLY recommend them.
