Awesome intimate and very friendly restaurant.
The food is always good. The variety of the menu is impressive for a cafe. Oh yes, their coffee is also impressive. Healthy and affordable, go on a love date or an overdue date with a friend; chances are you'll find something for everyone.

Wow, what a refreshing little restaurant to stop into on my holidays! The food was top-notch as well as the prices! They have a great variety of dietary options, including the keto cheese bread! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is quite relaxed! I'll stop in again next time I'm down in the valley for sure!

It was my first time eating in this café. And this was an amazing experience. Tastiest food. Without exaggeration, the best place I have ever eaten out at in NS. Feels like you're visiting your relatives.

The Tuscan chicken soup brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's chicken soup and the Blueberry burst smoothie was delicious as well.

This cafe is a true gem. The menu has something for everyone. The staff are wonderful. Most importantly, the food is fresh, hot, wholesome, and delicious, the coffee fair trade and wonderful and everything is local. Bravo

I always enjoy eating here. It was a rainy Sunday morning, so was not too busy. I'm guessing the rain was keeping people away.

Our server was very friendly and answered all of our questions regarding various menu items.

I chose the eggs benny skillet, which was delicious. Likewise, my friend was very happy with her Mexican skillet. Coffee was great, too.

This cafe is one of my favorite places for breakfast, lunch, or to grab a tea and treat. I love the keto and gluten-free options they have available, though they don't have much selection for keto deserts like they used to. They do, however, have a small selection of keto products to purchase. The atmosphere is a typical cafe style, and it can be a bit loud if you're sensitive to noise and I find the chairs a bit hard and uncomfortable, but it never deters me from dining in. The selection of hot drinks is impressive! The waffles are to die for! The staff are friendly, polite, and work hard. Definable a gem for Kingston!

It is rare for me to write a negative review. However, I am making an exception. Yesterday, at just after 11a.m, I entered the Green Elephant and waited to be seated, per the 2 signs. It wasn't busy. A couple was paying at the counter and a gentleman was waiting to pay. Customers with menus were seated at 3 tables. Not full, by any means. A server came from the kitchen area, looked right at me, then through me and walked over to the occupied tables. No greeting, no smile, no acknowledgement, not a word. I watched as she passed me again and returned to the kitchen area. Still, not a word. Meanwhile, the paying couple left and the gentleman was being attended to at the counter. The staff member behind the counter looked at me a few times, made eye contact and said or did NOTHING! It was as if I were invisible! She even came around to the front of the counter, a few feet from where I stood, yet no: "Welcome, we'll be right with you", or "have you been served? " No acknowledgement whatsoever. The first server then returned to the dining room, looked at me without expression, then averted her glance and proceeded to the occupied tables again, without a word! By that time I'd been standing there befuddled and ignored for over 5 minutes, before walking out. A 3rd staff member had emerged from the back and then turned back. In other words, they certainly weren't under staffed. How appalling and upsetting to be treated this way. Such a simple situation to attend to. I used to consider this place my "go to" for breakfast in Kingston! No more. I'm happy to give the benefit of the doubt, but this is either an extraordinary exception, a comedy of errors or it's cultural! Restaurants are part of the service industry. What a great example of poor service! Had I not had somewhere to be, I would have stayed to have a conversation. Instead, I resorted to the nearby drive thru, so I could be on my way.

We went there twice. The food is incredible both times. Today i had the special with a soup. I will be back again it is well worth going there if you are in the town. Also great baked goods. Thank you for the great service as well.

The best little Cafe and highly recommend to anyone. Even in peak lunch rush the food is still served quickly. Love their house salad and daily specials.

This was always one of our favorite spots to eat. The food has always been great. This time, I found a hair in my omelet. I quietly told the waitress, the owner came out and was given an apology and then told it couldn't possibly be anyone that worked there.almost implying it was mine? I was disappointed because I didn't get to finish my food and wasn't offered any compensation. An apology was fine, but the excuse didn't sit right. We decided not to tip and sadly won't be back.

Met with my sister and brother-in-law for brunch.excellent food, great service, and they let us babble till almost closing time. Thanks everyone

Fantastic place to grab breakfast! I stopped here with my friend while I was visiting her and they had the most delicious Chai latte! I would absolutely recommend checking it out wether its for a to-go coffee or a sit down breakfast!

Always lovely. Owner can accommodate allergies such as gluten and soy. Lovely coffees and brunch may be the best in the area. In summer they also have a pet friendly patio. If you don't know where to go, go play 'I spy elephants' here while having a delicious meal.
