Hali Deli - Old World Delicatessen

If you’re into Smoked Meat than you need to hit up Hali Deli. I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve only recently tried the Reuben instead of the smoked meat sandwich and I’ve converted to the Reuben from now on! It’s so good and so are the fries. Their brunch is tasty as well but it’s only on weekends. I really like their Benny for brunch but they stop serving it early so get there before 2pm if you want to try it.

Food was good, but any restaurant that refuses to give you water and demands you buy bottled water gets a no thank you from me.

I love this deli! The food is great, and I hope to one day try something other than their grilled Ruben sandwich.

One of my favorite places in the city I always get the mishmash hash. I stare at the menu for probably 10 to 15 minutes saying I'm going to get something different this time I always get the mishmash hash cuz it's always amazing. One day I will stray from my preference of the mishmash hash one of these days I'll have the courage one of these days I'll build the strength and stray from the path I've chosen for myself. Until then you and I both know what I plan on ordering.

CASH ONLY-ATM ON-SITE! This Deli continues to be a regular place we visit - amazing smoked meat, great brunch place, and they get fantastic Montreal bagels (not NY! Totally different!) sent in so you don't have to go to a second place to get them. Our standard is the hash with a bagel - but really everything here is excellent. We do take out during pandemic, dine-in also possible.

So, so good! Might be outlandish to say, but the Reuben is better than Schwartz’s in Montréal.

Classic, excellent portions, exactly what you want from a deli and more - no negative points whatsoever. A must-stop spot if you’re craving Jewish deli food and you’re in the area.

Why deny tap water to sell bottles of water, you are making more waste, losing customers and making the people who are coming less likely to tip. Whatever profit you are getting you are just taking from the tips of your workers. Your food is good, your service is good, this decision is not.

Good food and service. Cash only so be ready and if you are coming on. The weekend be ready for a wait. Despite quick turn around this is a popular spot!

Fantastic breakfast, lots of choices. The beef bacon is a must try. It's exactly what you would call a mama and papa place, but it's done so well. It is very popular for a good reason.

Reminds me of synagogue buffets after Bar Mitzvahs - in the very best possible way. Tastes like home and childhood.
