Halifax Chrysler Dodge

My first visit to Halifax Chrysler was with my daughter so that she could test drive a Jeep Willy's on Halloween (2023). There were several salespeople present, however Kyle was the first to make eye contact, step away from his desk, and smile. He was fantastic that day, and over the following few as well, resulting in my daughter leasing the vehicle by the end of the week.

I had mentioned to Kyle I may also be interested in a new Jeep; after all, I may be 50, but I was still envious of my daughter's new wheels. Kyle stayed in contact with me via text messages and phone calls without ever being pushy. When I attended the dealership a few weeks later without notice, he made himself available and was friendly and comforting. I ended up taking a test drive in a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave, since Kyle noted that he thought this particular one was suited for me. Holy smokes was he ever right! I loved it.however the tag price was beyond my budget. Shortly thereafter I unfortunately became ill and unable to work with Kyle regarding the Jeep, however he presented himself as compassionate and professional by discussing everything with my wife.

There is absolutely no doubt that Kyle was fully engaged to make things work for my spouse and I. His demonstration of honesty, integrity, reliability, respect, and a strong work ethic were witnessed and sincerely appreciated, which was a big part of my buying that particular Jeep. When Kyle tells you he cares that you make the purchase that is right for you, he truly means it.

On the day of pick-up, we met with J. J. (who we also dealt with for our daughter's lease) ; that man is genuine and professional. He made the entire financing and warranty process relaxing, transparent, and easy. Afterwards, we met with Kyle (came in on his day off!), who explained features of the Jeep, paired my phone, and supplied some treats along with his sincere appreciation.

Kyle & J. J.were phenomenal from start to finish. I give them both the highest of recommendations.

We had Kyle help us. He was so great and knowledgeable. Very patient and not pushy. Loved the experience and Kyle just made it that Easy to get into my New Jeep Wrangler Hybrid.

Bought a used vehicle from this dealership. Tarmine was a professional and honest sales representative. She was thorough and answered all of our questions in a transparent manner which was reassuring as service at other dealerships in the area were not as forthcoming with information, especially pricing. We have been servicing our Jeeps here for years and love Jamie and Phil, but we bought a new 4xe this week from Tarmaine and this took our level of love for this dealership to a whole other level. I was sure they were never going to be able to get me in my actual dream vehicle within budget but they did. The entire sales team was amazing. I’m still in shock in the best way.

I want to give a huge shout out to Victoria Walsworth and Kyle Gallimore for making me the happiest person on the planet today! You both went so far above and beyond to provide such outstanding service during the trade in and purchase of my new dream car. A Purple Dodge Challenger fit for a Queen. Sadly I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who assisted in valuing my trade in but he gets honorary mention as well Everything, even down to the fun music and atmosphere in the showroom from all the staff, made this whole process easy, helpful, and just overall kick a**. Thank you again for restoring my faith in large dealerships after months of disappointments with others.

Recently bought a jeep here. Sales was great, however recently I've had to bring it in multiple times for on going issues. They have bad customer service regarding communication and integrity. I was laughed at over the phone when I explained what the problem was.
I was told they would fix the problems addressed, but then told that they had broken a sensor while doing the repair, then told that the part was on backorder. They gave my jeep back saying it was "safe " to drive.no, it was not and the issue that I brought it in for was not resolved, making the vehicle undrivable.
Then a leak happened. Brought it back in and said to fix all problems. Was never communicated with at all, until I had to call for an update 2 weeks later to find that more parts were on back order and it would be 2 more weeks for issues that have been going on for 1 1/2 months to be fixed. Having to move around my schedule after being told it was ready for pickup, just to be called back and told that it would still be 2 weeks is pretty infuriating. I still haven't been told what the actual issue or work required is, even though I have asked.

Don't waste your time with this dealer, especially Chloe and Allan. They will lie straight to your face about stuffs that they don't even know what they were talking about

I BOUGHT MY DREAM CAR! What a great sales team. I delt with Raymond Holder, and let me tell you, he's just the best. Great hair, great posture and just the loveliest personality. Everything you want in a sales guy. He gave me a great deal and now I'm cruising around Halifax in my dark blue VW beetle? Couldn't be happier!

I am in the market for a trade in and stopped into Halifax Chrysler Dodge this past week to have a look around. I was approached by a very knowledgeable and friendly salesman that took the time to answer my questions and made me feel at ease as I had a look around. Raymond has been very helpful and I look forward to finalizing my sale with him!

Made an appt 2 weeks ago to have a service appt on my day off. Received a text the day before appt advising that my appt time was just a drop off time and that all appt are drop off and leave all day and that no waiting appointment is available. Had to cancel because i couldnt find a drive home. Having to leave vehicle all day for a 30 minute fix (that's being generous) is ridiculous. Terrible way to run a shop going to be calling around to see if this is standard practice for all dodge dealers now. (be cheaper to drive out of halifax then take $100 worth of cabs to drop off and pickup) if it's standard dodge dealers policy now it might be time to switch to a different truck. As I know of at least one dealer brand that still has a waiting appts.

Terrible customer services. Parts department refuse to do their job of looking up parts. The car sales representatives are uneducated on the very cars they’re trying to sell you… the finance rep is a crook as well…Overall avoid this establishment at all costs. Take your money somewhere people actually care.

Went in and spoke with Nikkole at reception. She was very friendly and helpful in pointing me in the right direction to a salesperson. Worked with Cory to figure out what vehicle best suited my needs with my budget. 10/10 would recommend.

BUYERS BEWARE!

If you buy a hemi know that every two years or less you will have to replace manifold studs and gaskets! This has been ongoing on the hemi since 2009 and dodge doesn't care at all! $1500 to do both sides and this will be the second time for my 2013 ram 1500. The first time was covered under factory warranty but this time is not! I bought a $4000 aftermarket warranty on my used truck and they will not cover the cost other than $400 so I'm on the hook for $700. Waste of money to buy the warranty.
The dealership wasn't bad to deal with but I'll be trading this Ram in for a Toyota as soon as I can.

Genuinely pleasant experience with the sales staff, I had my vehicle in for a service and decided to have a look around and was pleasantly surprised with how friendly and understanding the sales staff were. I'll be back here for my next Jeep!

Disappointing Service. Made an appointment days in advance, Knowing/advising what was needing to be fixed on my vehicle. Upon dropping it off a little before the scheduled appointment time for 8: 15am, the day of. They asked if I needed it back for a particular time of day, I advised them that I didn’t, and could pick it up at the end of the service day. Just after 2: 30pm I decided to call to see how it was coming along or if they may have finished the job. They had me hold for a few minutes, only to let me know they were just in the diagnostics stage for checking the problem, and they call me back once they knew what was going on. I knew then I had wasted my time taking it to them. They call me back about 15 minutes later to advise me what was wrong with the vehicle, which I had already told them the day I called and made the appointment, along with confirming, telling them when I had dropped it off to be serviced! They also said two of the parts needed to be ordered, and one would take about two weeks to get in. So a waste of a day and time for nothing.

I called and arrange with a local garage later that day, and they were able to get the parts in and repair it three days later.

Seems HCDJ is only good for recalls, oil changes, installing accessories and warranty work!

I only heard bad reviews from others who went there, telling me not too, for repairs outside of warranty work, only to be able to confirm it for myself.

My transmission blew on my Honda Civic last week so I was in a rush to get something new. Jeff was super helpful and got the vehicle ready for me to pick up very quickly. Thanks again Jeff!

Fantastic. First time buying a vehicle from a dealership. With a friendly staff, it made my experience very comfortable! I’d give 10 stars if it were an options!

Was sold a vehicle, with winter tires that were not on rims. Was then sold on an extended warranty package that "would cover oil, tire and rim changes for 2 years". That is precisely how Peter Smith explained it to me. Thinking I could save a few bucks up front on buying a new set of rims for my winter tires, I would accept the warranty at a cost of $1700 (also included undercoating), and by the time it was up I would have surely come across a set of rims for my winter tires. December 2nd I brought my vehicle in to have its first service done, and have the tires changed. It was then that I was told, my "warranty package" was essentially a prepaid service package that included only 4 oil changes (for someone who drives as much as I do, that will not last 2 years) and only covers tire changes if the tires are already on rims. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was charged $160 for the tire and rim changeover. I immediately sent Mr. Smith who sold the warranty expressing my frustration. That was December 2nd, 2019. If you're reading this Peter, I hope you enjoyed the commission you earned off misleading someone who would've been a loyal customer for many years. I wouldn't buy a pen from this place after this experience. I also don't normally write reviews, but since the salesman was so insistent on my giving a 5-star review, here's an honest one for anyone looking to buy a vehicle from these crooks.

Their part's counter employee's are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!

Their computer system on the other hand need's a overhaul.

If you call to order your part's, you'll be in trouble, due to the part's system.
If you go in, walk through what you need with the boy's, you will get what you need, but, it may not be #mopar

Going on week 3 waiting for a part for my 2016 Ram 1500, with no firm answer from dealer on delivery. Truck is down and only has 110,000km on it. Frustrated to say the least!
