Halifax Dental Studio

I started going to Halifax Dental Studio in the summer (referred by a friend). I am a pretty bad teeth grinder and did not understand the effects it was having on my teeth, sensitivity and shape of my smile. I also noticed that one of my front teeth had started drifting behind my smile. I had 12 aligner trays changed every two weeks and switched to retainers in January.in that time my smile was 80% improved in terms of alignment from my perspective. I was hesitant to have bonding done but it was recommended, but am really thrilled with the results, especially on my bottom teeth which were chipped from grinding and the brightness of my smile which is from using whitening with my trays and the bonding.

I appreciate that I get an honest opinion at this office and things explained to me clearly. I regularly go to the dentist, but after the cleaning I feel like my family dentist looks in my mouth for 30 seconds and leaves. After going here for dental work I actually understand what's happening with my teeth, why and how to fix it. Will add before and after photos once my treatment is finished. I am still debating whether to bond an additional two teeth for symmetry purposes.

My son had large gaps in his front, upper teeth. He wasn’t a great candidate for braces as he was told that after they were removed, the gaps would come back and the orthodontist recommended bonding. Dr. Arab-O’Malley created a work of art on his front four teeth. He’s gone from never showing his teeth while smiling to smiling ALL the time. It’s made such a positive difference.

I waited over 20 years to feel like this! I'm a very positive person who has so much to smile about but I have been self conscious for way too many years. I had braces as a teenager, but my teeth shifted back over the years. I think the tears of joy and relief I shed when Dr. O Malley showed me my teeth after the painless, fast procedure says it all.

Today was all about me. Dr. Arab O’Malley suggested that I get some cosmetic bonding on my front teeth because they are wearing down due to age and grinding. I was scared to do it but was convinced that it would not disappoint. So I did it and I am so happy I did. My teeth look great and I am smiling from cheek to cheek.

Just for ur knowledge, she don’t clean or sanitize anything she put in ur mouth. One of the worst place I ever worked. I am surprised why they never cancel her license yet.

I had crooked bottom teeth, a was suggested several options to fix them. We were able to find a fix without invisiline and within 30 min!

I went to Halifax dental studio for the first time today. I’m new to Nova Scotia and have been looking for a dentist. The dentist gives me so much anxiety but after being referred by my partner to this dentist I decided to give it a shot. Dr. Jenine Arab O’Malley was incredible. She made me very comfortable in her office, asked me what my biggest concern with my teeth was and listened to everything I said. She suggested cosmetic bonding and repaired my tooth that was broken by my previous dentist all in my one hour visit. I am very happy with the work completed here and I will continue to use this dentist. Thank you!

Dr. O'Malley is awesome. I broke a tooth and she went above and beyond to save it, under very difficult circumstances. She could easily have taken it out, as that would have been the quickest solution. Instead, she took her time, and after a lot of work, was able to save it.is very obvious she cares deeply about her patients.

They were late starting our appointment, there was pressure to complete a review, a service was added which I wasn't informed about, they didn't listen to what I was telling them about my eating habits and kept informing me not to drink certain things which I don't drink. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience.

Dr. O'Malley really can perfect a smile, I'm always so pleased with her work, the cosmetic bonding really makes a difference in having all my teeth present even and balanced

I had a lot of issues with my smile: missing teeth and spaces and was never comfortable even smiling! I always pictured having to spend a lot of money to fix this but Dr. O'Malley found a solution at a much better price point and she worked some magic! I had a fantastic experience at Dr. Jenine Arab O’Malley’s office. She treated me with great care and ensured I was comfortable during my appointment. I got a teeth cleaning and she removed all the stains on my teeth. She was also able to offer me with a bonding procedure to make my teeth looks absolutely perfect and aligned. Awesome service! I got my appointment really quickly, I was looking to get dental bonding as opposed to veneers due to saving a bit of money. I had 2 peg laterals in the front top and wanted those replaced, as “normal shaped” teeth. This was done at my first appointment no questions asked. Dr Arab O’Malley, explained everything she qas going to do, we came up with an affordable treatment plan, that will be implemented over time, to get my smile exactly where I want it to be. Overall experience- unbelievably happy!

It was a great experience especially as first timer here in Canada and Halifax. Dr. O’Malley is soft-spoken and very clear on her assessments. She would provide treatments which would be comfortable and affordable for you.

Had an amazing experience today with Dr. Jenine Arab O’Malley today. I was looking to enhance my smile without receiving braces and/or other aligners. She recommended bonding and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The before and after with my smile is astounding. Highly recommend anyone come and visit her for any of your smile needs.

Dr is very polite and she suggested me the best things as I went for Orthodontic treatmenr for my teeth. She made my teeth so straight I cant believe it. Her work is worth the money. She did awesome job.

I had acid erosion on my teeth and needed teeth bonding. I found Halifax Dental Studio and they did an amazing job at fixing the erosion!

I am very pleased with the outcome of my cosmetic bonding. I always thought I needed a veneers to improve my smile, which was very expensive. After I came in to the clinic Dr. O’Malley told me about the bonding and I was excited to try it out. Overall it came out looking great and fantastic and I am thrilled with the outcome! Dr. O’Malley is also very nice and accommodating which so really liked. I will definitely recommend Halifax Dental Studio to friends and family.

Excellent. The precision and ease shown from Dr. O’ Malley when bonding my teeth was amazing. Kind and caring and very concerned with my happiness. The end product was beautiful better than I could ever imagine. You are a true artist and it shows that you love what you do.

I truly caution you to be weary. I have never had a dentist manage to use my entire dental insurance allowance within the span of my initial visits. I went in for a chip in one tooth that I wanted repaired, and once this was completed -mouth still open- she began making adjustments to other teeth without permission, but only "explaining" them after she was already in the process of the changes and then showed me afterwards what was done. This would have been fine, until I received the $900 bill at the reception desk after my "just 1 small chip repair" appointment. I returned for my annual routine cleaning and a cavity repair. Since my mouth was numb, she told me to come back to adjust the bite of where the filling was done as I "couldn't feel anything" now. I already had another appointment scheduled for the Invisalign consult since she told me due to the wear on my teeth this was not optional but needed to be done, so she would check my bite after the filling then. When I showed up for this appointment she (without asking permission) proceeded to take photo records, and the teeth imprints to be sent to Invisalign. Not only did she manage to make what should have been a seamless procedure of getting teeth imprints unnecessarily painful (and needed to repeat them more than once) she left her next patient waiting and promptly left the room without the chance to adjust the filling from the previous appointment as she said she would. I left this appointment with another shock at reception that the "photos" left me with a $350 bill. I know the photos are important but I felt so off about the whole process that I consulted with another dentist.come to find out, they don't even charge a fee for obtaining these records. I went in for a chip tooth repair, annual cleaning, one cavity and a discussion about Invisalign and I left with a paid $2,350 bill in a haze of not even knowing how that was possible, and* with adjustments that I now will need to have done by another dentist (with no insurance left), as I experience extreme discomfort writing this review - let alone going back there. I've never felt so taken advantage of and this level of disappointment with a service we have to place trust in. I hope this review will help someone else be a little more informed and prepared for such an experience.

Really bad experience! I’ll give zero star if I could. Got two cut one on my face another one on my lips! They called back and saying it’s because of my dryness lips and don’t even mention about the cut on my face. Came in just for teeth cleaning but out of sudden she start filling my cavities without my permission. She only told you when she already working on it! Not a pleasant experience at all! They keep calling me even I told them I’m not coming back! They only have one dentist and one assistant. And the dentist picked up the phone call in the middle of my treatment more than two times. Please stop calling me!

I have a great experience with Dr. Jenine Arab O'Malley. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and I was very impressed and pleased with her approach, it was an unbelievably fast and smooth extraction. I love the efficient use of my time, I find the service thorough, responsive and professional.

It’s hard to put into words how you feel when someone changes your life! Dr O’Malley is a miracle worker! My entire life I hated my teeth and my smile.now I can’t stop smiling! I have sensitive teeth and she was extremely professional and understanding from start to finish! I highly recommend Dr O’Malley for anyone who wants a life changing experience!

Definitely the worst experience I have had from a dentist! I asked for cleaning and ended up with 4-5 extra things I never asked for. My bill ended up surpassing my insurance limit. Took the advantage of me having my mouth wide open to tell me extra stuff she will be doing without me knowing any details. Said my insurance would cover everything and that my claim was sent. 3 weeks later NOTHING, I called my insurance company and they said no claims! I had to take care of it myself which I do not mind but what a waist of time!

Dr. O Mally is a miracle dentist. I have had 4 veneers over 15 years ago and they weren't matching the rest of my teeth due to shape, colour, and shifting teeth. I went for consultations to 3 other places who all told me I'd need ten new veneers and it would cost 15-20K. Dr O Mally came up with a better solution using bonding on my surrounding teeth to match what I had. With my insurance it only ended up costing around 1000. It has been truly life changing. The best part is that it looks so natural and real. I couldn't believe it. So happy I discovered this place.

I've been coming to Dr O'Malley on and off the last 20 years and out of the 5 or 6 dentists I've had experience's with she is by far the best. Amazing job bonding my bottom front teeth!

Dr. Jenine Arab O'Malley is truly amazing. You can tell she really cares about her patients. Cosmetic bonding is a quick, easy but rewarding procedure. I have had cosmetic bonding done on my 4 front teeth and it has totally boosted my confidence.

Dr O'Malley is good at her craft! She's the absolute best. I was there for cleaning but she did even much more and and helped me achieve the perfect smile! My teeth have me looking like a star now!

Switched dentists today! Came in for a problem tooth I had looked at by another dentist multiple times with disappointing results. I couldn't be happier with it, it looks better than the original! I felt like I was actually listened to. I will be coming back regularly for the great service and care taken.
