Halifax Exhibition Centre

Christmas Glow 2022, une visite qui en valait la peine surtout avec de jeunes enfants. Moi, j'ai visité avec ma compagne, ma fille et son mari qui bien sûr leur fils qui aura 2 ans au début janvier.

Very pretty with all the glow lights! If you have young kids this is a spot to let them run and play them selfs out.

We visited on new year for the glow festival. It is great fun especially for kids and we had very good time. There is plenty of free parking. The tickets for the festival felt a bit pricey, however it was good to spend few hours especially as everything else was closed. I would certainly recommend if you are in the area.

I have only been here on various flea market sales. The products they display are always dirty, items are always opened up and tampered with. Although the prices are cheaper, sometimes the quality is not worth it.

I came to see the Sistine Chapel experience. This was amazing! It was well set out and the detail you could see on each panel was amazing. There was no rush to go through and leave. Lots of additional information when looking at the pieces and an audio for each one too. Beautiful.

I was there for an event which was excellent.
The entrance to the Center is really poorly laid out, unpaved and in need of repair along with clearer signage

It very depends on type of exhibition you are visiting. Exhibition center is a nice place to visit when the events are run there

Van Goh display was incredible. Video and Audio were perfect. Stunning tribute to such an artist.

Experienced the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit at HEC on our anniversary in May. It was incredible. The staff did a good job of making us feel welcome and safe because the moving images in such large format are a bit to get used to. Once oriented we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was a bit far out of the city and that was a surprise. If you haven't seen it yet you must go.

Visited the Exhibition centre for an art exhibition and it was really fascinating and impressive. The art works on display are simply beautiful.

Went to see the Van Gogh virtual exhibit, it was wonderful! So impressed with the imaging and show.

A wonderful experience. The time flies by. If you have even a passing interest in art this will be worth it.

I was here for the first Driven Canada Car show and Dance battle. Traffic was a bit crazy but plenty of spots to park. Great size, friendly service.

Every year we vist Christmas crafts show and every year you never stop to amaze me. Handicap area needs work we parked in what looked like make shift handicap area, but area was too small for walker to come out side door.

Always good shows at the Exhibition Center. Lots of parking too. If it's a big (popular) show and you go at peak time, be prepared to park in the mud.

This building needs a major overhaul. Very dated colours, poor food service facilities (food was ok) and outdated and smelly washrooms.
This place drags down the quality of any event held there.

Great venue for the Saltscapes events although not easily accessible for those without vehicles. Public transit doesn't run too often

The Canada wide skilled trades competition was held here and it was one of the best and most fun school feildtrips I've ever been on.

Location is excellent, close to downtown. Parking is large and fit lots of vehicles. The new addition of Tim is excellent. However the parking require new paving and marking.
Inside the space require lots of upgrade, seats for rest. And entertainment spaces

I work there on occasion as an outside contractor setting up trade shows, in my capacity, i find some of the technology installed tends to malfunction or not work at all the place still hasnt been completed and theyre still shoveling money into it, its been refered to by others as a 90million dollar waste.

Saw Saltscape here. Nicely laid out but better choices in food would be nice. Plenty of parking.

Motorcycle shows, Boat shows, Sports and RV shows, all happen here.

Pretty good venue with a part of it that looks like it may have been a hockey arena with stadium seating.

I attended the motorcycle show last week, and it was good. 13 buck entrance fee, most models of motorcycle were there. Lots of atvs, side by sides, clothing, accessories etc.

Would like to have seen more stuff related to the adventure rider segment.

They had a tattoo and beard growing contest to help broaden the scenery.

Will attend next yr. Nice to see and think about motorcycles in a cold February day.

Attended the spring home show here. Photo of stick on back splash from Happy Harry's. Lots of good ideas and variety of booths where you could get answers to questions.

They always do an amazing time organizing any events they have here. Bathrooms are the worst in the city though.:/
