Halifax Forum Super Bingo

Don't go here often but the Goth Christmas Market is held here and it's the perfect venue for that and other markets. I'm in my later 50s and not Goth but I always find something cool to buy. The Forum was more prominent in it's younger days, being THE place to see bigger concerts and hockey games. I believe it still has loads of life in it's old bones and is still the place to see concerts, hockey and other attractions, albeit maybe on a bit more friendly, local Nova Scotia scale these days. Love that old place.

I only go here for events like Christmas at the Forum, etc.so I can't speak for any of the actual rinks, amenities, etc. But it's a large arena type building with several other smaller rooms and event spaces. Its age is definitely showing with lots of wear and tear, very dated restrooms, etc. Parking lots are too small to accommodate many of the larger events it holds.
It gets the job done but don't expect a sleek, modern, updated space. Rustic and well-worn might best describe it.

Nice local rink with 2 separate ice areas on either side of the building. Reminds me of when I was growing up, they also have a multipurpose room where various events are often hosted and a farmers market on Saturdays. However, it is confusing to get from one side of the building to the other from inside and there is no signage. People are often going to the wrong part of the building for hockey or events and have to back track outside or attempt wandering through the building, unless someone happens to be around to get directions from.

Great little (comfy) arena right in the downtown of the hustle and bustle of Halifax. Great sight lines in the lower bowls for most events.

This place is fantastic! I love coming here every time I come to Halifax. The cost to play is extremely reasonable and the games are fun. I've also emailed on a few occasions and have received responses within 30 minutes! Service is outstanding!

We stopped in to see teg Halloween pop up store. Always a great stop on Sunday as well to check out the local flea market

Worst poutine I have tasted in my life. The gravy tasted like burnt rubber. Couldn’t see the scoreboard due to the media/commentator boxes either.

It's nice to have a rink in the middle of the city even if it is pretty dated and a bit of an eyesore.

The forum was all set up for a boxing match. It was well run. There was a place to buy beer and a another canteen. Very warm there. Great turn out

Always a great time at the Sunday Market. Friendly Vendors and a cornucopia of items for sale, new Nd old. There's even a place to have your Tarot cards read. Good people and a great place to visit on a Sunday mo ring with the kids!

Older arena within HRM with a history that goes back to the 1920's. Lots of blind spots from the stands trying to watch a game but had a nostalgic and cosy feeling about the building.

As a player the ice surface is sometimes cut up really bad and looks like elephants with skates used it before.

Nice old rink facility. Not too cold, comfortable. Theater style seating but some are wooden and some are plastic. Wooden ones are not as comfortable
