Halifax Public Gardens

There are some beautiful spots. Not as beautiful as gardens in Toronto but really good for a place like Halifax.

Clean, quiet, calming spot for a stroll or lunch break. Lots of critters and seating options.

Beautiful garden with trees planted by Bristish Queen and King. Tombs of Titanic victims layed out honorably. Very moving.

Even in the off season, still beautiful! The zinnias were incredible! (*we were there in mid October)

Amazing gardens even in the Fall. It’s a great place to walk around and just enjoy the natural things in the middle of all the hustle and bustle

Beautiful scenery in the center of Halifax. Well maintained and clean. A refreshing place to have a nice walk and enjoy nature.

We had a guided tour of the gardens. Some of the plants were removed from some beds to prepare for winter.

An amazing garden! So much to see and learn of the different trees and flowers, and it's all free. Good rest stop as well if u are on the hop on hop off bus. They have tons of flowers and bushes and gardens to see - there is entertainment if you look it up on the website.

Lovely for a walk, clear paths, small streams and tons of crows and ducks. Ducks may approach you unprompted.

FYI Sign at the park entrance says no dogs allowed.
