Halifax Putting Edge

A great way to spend about an hour on a Saturday with some arcade games to finish off your visit.

SO much fun. It was not very busy, the course is easy enough for a beginner to enjoy and challenging enough to be fun. Black lights and brilliant neons make for an entertaining experience. Arcade games, clean washrooms and the staff member who greeted us and got us set up was very friendly. Scorekeeping is done with an app so you can be as competitive as you want to be!

Friendly staff, well-maintained and a nice spot for a fun hour with the kids. I think they should explain golf etiquette to people on the way in as we had a family behind us playing our hole while we were still on the green.

Make sure you book an appointment for the mini golf, some people rent that place for birthdays and you will have to wait for hours to go in there or return other day. The arcade is boring and not to many machines.

The staff are always so kind to adults and kids so family friendly and for big groups. Always clean there I have been going my whole life. Putting Edge is good with booking appointments as well as birthday parties. They explain everything about the arcade points and prizes. Definitely the best place to golf indoors in Halifax. Make sure you wear white so you glow in the dark!

Lovely date idea or fun with the kids! Honestly my biggest complaint is that there aren't more holes (18)! It was great fun though! Recommend wearing white or light colors as it's blue light and you will glow!

Booked for 5 people got there and was told we could only play with 4 we needed to split group up. Was being rushed by workers saying only 6 shots per hole.kids will never learn when being rushed seems like more of a money grab then a family establishment was not happy and will not return or recommend anyone do so.

Highly recommend making a reservation before going, as walking in can result in a long wait.

The course is fairly basic, but the black light gimmick hides some slants on the holes. The last hole is pretty fun to watch, though lead to a back-up of players.

The sound in the front arcade area was on the verge of being too loud. That seems pretty standard for arcades though.

Have been here a few times, awesome spot! The reason for four stars is because they should space out the booking times. Some groups go fast, some go slower. If you’re a fast group, you’ll be frustrated if the group ahead of you is going slow. If you’re a slow group, you’ll feel pressured to go faster.
Other than that, I would definitely recommend Putting Edge!

I took my son and his friend mini golfing for the first time yesterday for my son's birthday. To say that they had a blast is an understatement! The fellow working the front counter was AMAZING! Super friendly and helpful. He went way above and beyond to make sure our experience was great!

Fun but not worth the money. Went in with 2 groups of 3-4 people each and we all finished in 30 minutes.

Fun to go round with everything illuminated, but the holes themselves are a tad boring. Could have been a bit more exciting and adventurous. A tad expensive for what it was.

Everything as expected for a mini put course! Phenomenal staff! The glow in the dark colors were very cool. Great arcade games aswell!

They have a great system for dealing with social distancing and masking. Good job guys for a no pressure good time.

A great way to spend an hour with the kids. We went early on a weekday morning and had the place to ourselves. Wear bright clothing, preferably something that glows in the dark! Unfortunately not very accessible for those with mobility issues - lots of stairs and windy, uneven paths. Make sure someone brings a smartphone because the score card is an app you download.

It was plan to go here tonight to relax and have fun but just because I was half vax you guys denied me that. Why is it that groceries stores can allow vax and none vax and half vax people in it but this place. YOU GUYS ARE NOT EVEN AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE SO I DONT SEE THE POINT WEATHER YOUR FULLY VAX OR HALF VAX. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU ALL

I'm a big fan of this place. I wasn't aware they have a small arcade in the front now. It has about 10 or so games. The main draw for me is the art and environment. It's a fun place to be in.

Had a fantastic time at putting edge! We did the mini put and arcade! Really great COVID precautions! Super affordable!

Gave this place another shot after having a not so stellar experience for my nephew's birthday, a good half of the black lights are out in the putting area so it's more 'dark' then 'glow in the dark' token prices are obscene for how many plays you get vs other arcades. Very very disappointed and have lost faith in this location I used to enjoy so much.

Fun place to spend some time, especially on a rainy day. A total of 18 holes to test your skills in glow-in-the-dark mini golf. No more paper and pencil score pads, but there is now an app available. The whole set up was super efficient for the space (upstairs and downstairs). Only downside was that it got a bit suffocating after a while having to wear a mask in such a warm environment. There are also arcade games available outside of mini golf. Good overall experience with a small group of friends or on a date.

It’s a fun place to hangout! They don’t really have a lot of options for the arcade but the mini golf is super fun! I like the neon theme in the course even all the holes are not very challenging.
The servers were nice and the atmosphere was good.
Really had a good time there, and def will be back soon.

Tried booking, website would not allow us to, tried calling phones were not working, so tired turning up but to no avail, would not give us a slot, staff were nit pretty helpful what’s so ever, hanging around talking to other staff members

Good cheap fun, for 18 holes you kinda move through them quick so probably better with a bigger group

Just be aware if you are going through and not playing but looking after kids and your not taking a putter and ball you will be charged full price.also the lady was very rude to us about not playing.overall kids had fun.

Wonderful experience.beautifully painted, a cheery way to spend some time. Staff are accommodating and helpful. Well maintained business. FUN!

Great family experience, we had a blast and the staff was helpful and outgoing. Definitely recommend this for a fun night out.

Tried to call and book but their phone was disconnected? Couldn't book online or pay and when we went in it was fully booked up and staff seemed to not know what was up with that. I was not the only one having issues with trying to contact this place.

Such a fun place, with or without kids. We always have a good time, again with or without kids. Great spot and worth the money.

Had a fun time on a family visit with nieces and cousins (late teens and early 20's; the toddler in the group behind us also seemed to be having a great time). Most of the holes are pretty standard mini-golf setups, but the lighting and design add to the fun.

Very disappointed. My husband and I took our son here for a last outing before school started back. I didn't feel like playing but wanted to watch my son, which I have done before. Well, apparently they now charge $5 just to go in! So, I had to sit at the small tables and just wait for them to come out.

Visited with a few friends, the course was fun! The arcade is sweet, and the staff are super friendly. Had a blast! Definitely great for killing an hour

I used to Love this place but apparently they do not accept cash anymore because of Covid. I was planning on taking my date there tonight but I don’t have a credit card and won’t be asking her to book for us. I don’t patronize any business that doesn’t accept cash. Hopefully they change their policy in the near future so I can give them a better review.

Had a very fun time! I hit golf balls into holes. Also the worker Chris is really nice and helpful! He made the experience life changing! He’s also really cute: o! I also want to come back and win all the donut plushies. Recommend 100%
