I personally think the old location was much better but there is still a good selection of vendors

This has always been a great experience on a Saturday morning. The wide variety of fresh produce and locally made items was worth the buzz. The pandemic has definitely changed things from not many vendors to less buzzing atmosphere. Please continue to support our local vendors and remember their new location at Pavilion 22.

Love where the market is being held now.

So much more room. Disappointed my favourite Indian cook was closed.don't quite understand that as a restriction since food is food and well there were a number of cakes and cookies being sold so why not samosas?

Lots of fun to explore. Great selection of vendors, creative items and fresh food. Can be quite crowded.

Always an amazing market to hit up on the weekends. Sadly it’s undergoing so many changes due to Covid so we will see what they have up their sleeve for the spring as for now it’s not running.

Well worth a visit, there are various stalls on the two floors. You can buy food to take away, can eat there and also have coffee.
There is a stall selling some interesting flavoured spirits - we brought home maple vodka and flavoured gin!

I would have expected more traditional farmers. Samossa and fried foods are not my definition of farming. But I did see a few kiosks that had some stuff coming from the farm.

Very diverse Place The Weeknd Bazaar had all kinds of different food stands and other things that you could buy. Foods from all over the world in fact

Bon choix de restaurant, peu de producteurs maraîchers et encore moins d'artisans. Le samedi il y a trop de monde bien visiter et évaluer chaque fermier.

The worst farmer’s market I’ve ever been to. Maybe it’s because I went on a Monday, but there was literally only a few vendors open.

It is okay to visit once in a while.but I find it more of a nice place to visit than a proper farmer's market where I would buy my fruits and veggies.

Open weekdays too

Although Saturday is the best day to go, we were walking the boardwalk on a weekday and appreciate that it’s open and some permanent vendors are there.

Great place to shop for a healthy local food at good prices. We now shop here at least once a week now.

The place is at the south end of waterfront, near to pier 21. I went on weekday. Not many stalls and shops as expected. More crowds around 12 noon. Later than that, will be less people and most of the stalls might close.
A place to do quick shopping and have some bites. Recommend seafood chowder at CAD15 each.

An amazing place to get super fresh produce during harvest season. Bought the best wild blueberries at a really good price.

Great place to go with the entire family and support the local farmers. One stop shopping for souvenirs while indulging in the delicious food that's available.
#brilliant!

Great little Farmers market with lots of local vendors, artists, music, crafts as well as Gin, Vodka and wines from local distilleries and wineries.
We bought some flavoured vodka and gin that are absolutely fantastic.
On the day we were there there weren't many vendors, most likely because there was no cruise ship in, but it was enough.
A couple little bakeries and restaurants too.

During the busy summer season, there's always a great variety of vendors. Can get very crowded (because of the small aisles) especially on weekends. SUPPORT LOCAL!

We were here mid-August and there is very little happening. Wouldn’t describe it as a farmers market, just a few local crafts people and cafeteria line food. Disappointing. City of Halifax needs to put more thought and energy into this place. I would put this way down your list of “must see” places in Halifax.

Visit only on the weekend. Nothing there during week days. Went on a Monday and minimal venders. Jewelers, one produce, a couple other mixed sellers and two or three food vendors.

Magnifique petit marché où la diversité d'halifax est mise en avant. Merci à tous les commerçants de la place

Not much of a Farmer's Market, they didn't even have produce or much product at all, just mainly food vendors. Also got food poisoning from the Chinese restaurant so that wasn't fun.

The market is amazing on Saturday and Sunday, diverse food and art to be had. Only taking one star off because while it's "open" on weekdays, there are only about 15% of the vendors present.

Wasn't very full with vendors.kind of disappointing. Maybe I'll try again closer to the end of summer for more produce options
