Horrible experience with them. Had to call 20 times to get through and book my appointment. I ended up get a cancellation appointment from another patient, which was nice. However, after they called and told me they will file my prescription last Tuesday, there was nothing came through to the pharmacy.

I tried to called another 20 times, this time I got no luck, no one ever answered and I still don’t know where is my prescription. No one returned my voicemail after a whole week and I’m too busy to spend my time and energy on them.

I end up use online prescription website that covered under my employee benefits, thanks to my employer… the doctor who I saw there was nice but the management at this clinic is HORRIBLE, I will never come back again.

I have had a great experience with the HSHC. I will say, my only critique was the length in time I had to call until someone answered the phone- that was the hardest part. The clinic was welcoming and friendly and my interactions with Dr. Chow were very professional and caring. She allowed me to ask any questions I had, listened and provided options instead of opinions. All in all, this was a great interaction and I fully recommend this service to anyone who may need it.

I missed an over the phone appointment (my bad, of course) and tried calling back immediately. I have called them 40 times today without a single human answering the phone, and when I emailed them, I got a generic response about their phones being repaired. I feel totally abandoned, it took weeks of calling to make this appointment and now I'm afraid I'll have to wait even longer while I try to access life saving medication. The services they provided in the past were amazing, but now this is just a joke. There is no way to get ahold of these people

Once you have an appointment, HSHC is wonderful. However, very inaccessible. The number of times you have to call this clinic before you actually get to speak to someone is painfully sad. I have used their services 3 times in the past, and I probably made about 10 attempts to contact them before finally speaking with a human each time.

No family doctor limits many people's options. Having to advocate and work so hard to be seen by alternative healthcare services is a real shame.

Once you are in the staff and doctors are incredibly nice and thorough. Unfortunately the other reviews are right about not being able to get in for appointments. It’s probably just too busy to be able to handle the number of people who need their services. Says more about the province than the center itself. Thanks for the good experience!

Showed up at 620 after fighting traffic, their phone doesnt work. No one was here even though it says open till 8 on a tuesday.

Closes for an hour for a lunch break. Restaurant staff don't even get breaks, your receptionist needs a whole hour? And before you go into "well the labour board" ok then put someone else on the phone for that hour. You don't shut down a phone line of a health centre so Becky can eat her greek salad no olives with the dressing on the side.

Pretty disappointing

I am so beyond grateful that this clinic is available to the public, but the only downfall is the fact that they only have one person to answer phone calls. Accessibility is ABSOLUTELY needed for a clinic like this in a city this size! I tried multiple times over the course of a month to try to get someone on the phone so I could make an appointment.

Nice people. I'm having issues from a medical procedure done there and I'm also out of my medication, I was suppose to take it yesterday, no refills left. I've been trying to call them for days. They never answer the phone. I've gotten through in past like 1% of the time. I said screw it and went to the office around 5 yesterday, I couldn't find anything saying they were closed but there was no one there! Driving there in really bad traffic didn't make it any better.

I've called 20 times over the past two weeks and only talked to a real person once-then they immediately told me to call back next week. They don't book appointments online or through email. Their phone is busy 99% of the time and they don't answer voicemails. They are supposed to be open until 5pm, but they weren't answering calls as of 4: 40pm. If you close at 4: 40pm, say you close at 4: 40pm so potential patients don't waste their time.
