Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre, Ascend Hotel Collection

Great place, nice rooms. Elevator had some issues, ended up twice at 12th floor instead of 13th and then got locked out of our rooms, took the stairs to 3rd floor as the elevator is key activated.
Also had last serve breakfast and I wasn't able to cut the pancake as the bottom crust was rock hard.

After reviewing my review it looks like it was not a great experience but honestly it wasn't horrible just slightly disappointing.

Top notch. I have been to many places and hotels, this ranks at the top. We were pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be back.

First off I'd just like to say, WOW! From the moment my wife and I, along with our toddler and infant arrived through the doors, we felt welcomed and right at home! Their wonderful desk staff, yfajar and jmatal were beyond accommodating and so caring for our busy family during our stay. The pool was pristine, the 3rd-floor rooms were breathtaking, the beds felt dream-worthy, and the complimentary brownies were a huge hit with my son! We typically stay downtown, but this trip we wanted to switch things up. A 5-star experience, from check-in to check-out. We'll be back!

Room is roomy, and has all the proper necessities. Nicely located for conventioneers.
It's quite a taxi ride from the airport and overnight stays must account for that when returning for connections. Please be aware: Adjoining restaurant Le Rouge has good food and drinks and superb service but is not normally equipped to accept airline vouchers.
We would stay here again upon return to Halifax.

Nice clean rooms, nice staff they refunded me after i saw the room and left.definitely could be bigger for $400 a night. More for business stays not a good area for downtown Halifax. I have no reason to be in that area so i will not be booking again.

This is a new hotel, all in marble, so it looks chic. The rooms are large and bright. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Great place for conferences. Very friendly staff.

Fell in love with the layout/design of this hotel! It’s so beautiful and clean! I highly recommend booking with them the next time you’re in the area. And the restaurant La Rouge is amazing for seafood. Breakfast is included and it has a great skyline view of the city. Don’t forget the complimentary hot beverage machine in the lobby!
I cannot wait to visit Nova Scotia again and book with this hotel.

This was one of the largest standard hotel rooms I have stayed. Premium suites are bigger of course but we had a standard room here. It's very new. Everything was excellent. Hope to stay here again. Very clean and staff are courteous. Nice restaurant on 1st floor. Reception is on 3rd floor

I can't even begin with how incredible the Halifax Tower Hotel was.

The staff went above and beyond and the amenities were just mindblowing such as a 24/7 espresso bar with accompanied sweets (included-no additional charge), a piece of cake set in the room upon check in, bottles of water, free parking and full buffet breakfast at their Le Rogue restaurant. The whole hotel was immaculate and felt like you were a part of royalty staying here. During breakfast the general manager came over to introduce herself and she was so sweet and offered to take a picture of us, she made us feel incredibly special.

Unfortunately their pool was not open *yet* but we were able to use their adjacent sister hotels pool which was accessible through a hallway through our hotel. But I did sneak a peek at their pool and now I want to return back to take a dip and soak in their hot tub in the future.

The rooms were MASSIVE and made the PERFECT atmosphere for my bacherlotte. They helped make my night so perfect with the cherry on top especially with all of the amazing places for photo ops.

10 outta 10 will be back again!

Very high end, modern hotel in an industrial park with great views from the 16th floor dining area!

Ok where do I start, this was one of our best choices to stay in a hotel in a long time, Halifax Tower Hotel is now our number 1 place to stay in Halifax and will never stay anywhere else. From our 1st check-in with John to our check-out with Sol, the staff here really make you feel not like a customer but a family member of the Hotel and are very pleased to help you with anything you need or are looking for. At breakfast, we had the honour of meeting one of the owners Stephanie and she was very warm and caring about our stay, there is so much we can say about our stay but I will keep it short here. All the staff from the Le Rouge restaurant to the hotel are amazing and know now why this new Hotel has a 5 Star rating, It's one of those that you just have to say check it out for yourself and you will see why and you will be happy—looking forward to our next stay in about a month.

This hotel is beautiful. The location, the lobby and amenities are top notched. You can tell every detail was very well thought of and designed to depict luxury. The staff (front desk and restaurant) are all amazing people and the Manager is always around making sure the guests are well taken cared of. I will highly recommend this hotel to my friends visiting the Halifax area in the future.

Clean hotel, big rooms. Friendly staff. Just it is more for conferences. Not recommended for city visits.

Many amenities and beautifully decorated. Very clean and comfortable rooms with impeccable service from hotel staff. The breakfast included in our stay was excellent too.

It is a bit further out from Halifax's downtown core, but for the price per night the value was unreal.

Halifax Tower is a beautiful new hotel. We had a large well appointed room. The check in process with Sha was very smooth. She recommended places to go. We had delicious burgers at the restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was included. Both Edythe and Natalie provided excellent service with warm smiles and greeting each morning. Would highly recommend.

BEST HOTEL IN CANADA!:)

Having stayed 60+ nights this year in various hotels within Canada I can confidently say this was BY FAR the best experience yet!:)

From the check in, to the room, to the lounge, to the TO DIE FOR BREAKFAST every second of my stay was a treat!

At the price range the room provides extreme value.

The staff are lovely and really do care that you enjoy your stay.

If you ever have the chance to stay here take it!

Attended a wedding reception here recently, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Their decor is gorgeous, service is impeccable, and food was delicious.
The only critique I have is that the cutlery wasn't placed correctly around the plate.

Would definitely recommend for any upscale event! I'm certainly going to come back as a guest, and host an event here.
