I have never had to throw away sushi because of how badly it was prepared. This sushi has excess amounts of mayo & is just not good. The prices are extremely high for the quality that you get. I ordered to go and even their containers were random and not the best for sushi. Horrible sushi.

Place looked nice, staff were friendly and accommodating (nothing over the top) food was quick, but rather tasteless or lacking flavour. Had the miso soup, shrimp tempura and a spicy salmon roll, soup was watery with giant chunks of green onion with very small tofu pieces, also the seaweed was rolled and hard in the soup. The roll wasn’t spicy and wasn’t special, and the tempura reminded me of a fish and chips more than tempura. Also friend of mine got the udon seafood broth and said it was great but never tasted the same every time they ordered it. Overall not worth paying 75$ for an average meal for 2. Not to mention the bathroom/ hallway to bathroom and staff rooms was disgusting, your feet stuck to the floor, there was grime everywhere and I don’t want to image what there kitchen looks like.

Excellent service. Excellent food. I am a celiac so they made sure there is no gluten on it. Customer service was great and staff was very friendly. It was my first time in this restaurant. I had a great time with my friends.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Our group of six had two young children with us. The server was helpful and attentive, providing recommendations based on our needs with the children. Everyone loved their Pad Thai and sushi. My shrimp tempura was so delicious, with a light, but crunchy batter. My chicken satay was equally delightful, tender and succulent. I wish I would have had room for the crab rangoon, which were huge and oozing lots of crab. I highly recommend this restaurant, in the Hydrostone area, on a fine street with many delightful shops and restaurants, and facing a park explaining how this « English Garden » type neighbourhood came into being after the Halifax Exlosion.

Absolutely enjoyed their food. Friendly staff. Beautiful night view. Will visit again soon.
