Hampton Inn by Hilton Sydney

Very clean and spacious. Nice staff and good breakfast. Checking in at 1 a.m. Wasn't a problem.

The Hampton is perfect for us. The dog can stay. It's central. Lovely breakfast included. The staff is friendly and accommodating to all our needs. Great place!

The front desk staff was amazing! Very helpful. This was our first time staying here, but we will use this Hampton hotel again! The free hot breakfast is always a plus and with more selection than we are used to seeing. Beds and pillows are always perfect!

The noise on our floor (banging on doors, slamming doors, loud guests) and outside the building made it impossible to sleep! This started at 12 midnight and continued until 4: 30 in the morning without anything being done by management. Front desk staff said that it was a Christmas bash and they were out of control yet nothing was done.

Of of the best hotels in Sydney. Sheltered my 87 year old grandparents from hurricane Fiona! Comfortable beds too!

I spent a very comfortable night there after a long drive from Ajax, Ont. The bed was so comfortable. It should be called Sink & Sleep. Breakfast was also excellent. Many choices of foods. Ready now for the Boat Ride to take me to NL.

Great room (had a little kitchenette). Clean and tidy. Staff were also great, including the team keeping the breakfast area stocked and organized.

We had some issues with the cleanliness of our room. It was also in need of refreshed carpets, paint etc. The staff were so fantastic though and did all they could to make things right. The location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay.

It is a very busy place with pool and breakfast area being very busy.

I really object to having an office chair as the only sitting option in a large room that had space for a small couch or another chair. My husband sat in the chair and I had the bed or the floor I guess. It was clean and the pools was nice with a slide for kids and the restaurant attached by walkway is great. Seriously think about someone other then a single business traveller when designing spaces or direct couples and families to rooms with more furniture.

Amazing hotel. Our room was new and the view into the Sydney harbour was from our bed was amazing. If you ask for a harbour view you won’t be disappointed. Very friendly staff.

Well-kept and clean place to stay. The breakfast is pretty good but nothing spectacular. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fitness centre is decent and even though the pool is a bit small for such a big hotel, the water slide is pretty cool.

A cookie-cutter Hampton inn. Very clean. Breakfast is ok. Wi-Fi is pretty good. I would guess this is the best hotel in town at Sydney- it is located a little bit outside the town. Service is also ok but nothing really impressive.

Great rate, we stayed twice over the past months. I requested a veteran's rate. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Check in and check out were simple and efficient. Excellent location.

Nice room and friendly staff with a central location.
However:
Bed felt a bit saggy/wore in on one side.
The pool definitely did not feel heated, even the pool room was cold.
I know theres no cooked food due to covid protocol, but the boiled eggs provided could have been warmed or labelled cold eggs.

The room was very large and clean. I did however get used shampoo and conditioner bottles and the TV didn't work. Breakfast was only sandwich and cereal, so not a big hotel breakfast unfortunately. The pool was decent size but very very cold! The gym was great size and had very many options of equipment.
The font desk people were very nice and welcoming. Great parking and close to everything!

Quiet and comfortable place, the room is large, clean and contains a TV, a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker, the bed is clean, tidy and comfortable, in addition to open and free internet, wireless and wired internet, a spacious and clean bathroom, but I did not find a bottle of shampoo in the bathroom, there was only soap, a beautiful look Close to the city center, 24/7 parking, the staff are very friendly, in general I highly recommend you to visit this place.

Never booked here until just the other day and it was absolutely the worst customer service experience I've had booking at a hotel. Wont be booking here again.

I had stayed multiple times at the Hampton Inn @ Sydney, but I think this will be my last stay, the check in was not good. The clerk on the front desk was not wearing a mask, and there were mutiple issues with cleanliness in the room (Stains on curtains, stains on the couch cushions, a lot of dust on surfaces.) The room does not appear to have been checked after it was initially cleaned.

Nice hotel. Made to feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door. Friendly staff. Especially Rob on the front desk who seems to go the extra mile to make sure your stay is a great experience. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is included. Very much recommended for anyone travelling to the Sydney area.

It was a nice hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was included. It was the only hotel chain in the area from what I remember. Staff were friendly and assisted with where to go and what to do in the area which was helpful. Overall, good value. Thank you.

Nice hotel, comfy beds my only complaint would be the laundry. I chose this hotel specifically because I could do laundry. When I tried tonight before my early am departure I discovered a group of bikers had taken over the only machine. There is only one washer and dryer. At 7: 30 there were six loads at least in front of me. At 10: 00 now, there are four. It would be nice if guests were allowed one load while other guests were waiting. I literally have no clean clothes and my next two day destination has no laundry options. This is a largish hotel only one machine was a surprise but not having a policy so all guests who wanted to use it were able to is disappointing.

Beautiful hotel. Pedway to a decent restaurant. Complimentary full breakfast, gym, and pool with water slide. Although, like most newer hotels it's less a full swimming pool and more a small place to just float around.

Booked a room and once we landed at the hotel a days trip away they told us our credit card (the one they took over the phone to book the room). Was incompatible and turned us away.couldn't take a cash deposit. 5 kids and 2 adults left without a place to sleep garbage people

Beautiful hotel with excellent, friendly staff. I never heard of D. P. Murphy hotels before this trip, but having stayed in 3 of them I'm quite impressed. Keep up the good work.

We stayed here last summer with our 4 kids and had an amazing time. We did lots of tourist stuff around Cape Breton but by far our favourite part of the vacation was the hotel. The kids didn’t feel cooped up in our room because we spent so much time at the pool. The buffet breakfast was amazing and delicious. So many wonderful options. And the service was friendly and welcoming.

My favorite place to stay while visiting Sydney. Excellent location, beautiful rooms, fitness center on site and the staff are amazing. Breakfast included and Wednesday night mixers are great for networking. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice clean Hampton, like you would expect. I'm giving this property a 1 out of 10 for my USB friendly score as the only USB charging outlet is on the cable box behind the TV.and it's not really meant for that. I think these days there should be at least 4 USB charging ports in a room. Aside from that, I used the Hilton digital key and it worked will. If you arrive past 9pm, all the restaurants around are closed and take our/delivery is your only option.
