Beautiful view. Always excellent food and service. Usually have to get takeout containers.

The food was good, but not satisfied with customer service. We waited almost an hour to get our dishes. Also the employees treated us like a strangers or trespassers. No one had a smile on their faces.

My husband and I took a little vacation for our anniversary this weekend. We went back for three meals at the Harbour restaurant. The staff were beyond hospitable- it felt like home. The food was exceptional and well priced. We will definitely be back. I wish I caught the name of our server to give her some recognition. I’m pregnant and she ensured that I was well looked after.

The lobster tail was not fresh and the halibut also tasted frozen. We weee very disappointed with the meal, don’t know how they had such great ratings. Big difference when you taste fresh fish like in Dennis Point Café in Pubnico.

Great dinner! My husband and I like to split most dishes because the proportions are so large. Here, we did the same. We each ordered a cup of soup (seafood chowder and french onion soup), bacon wrapped scallops and Acadian Style fish (I think they use different fishes depending on the season). And we had a cocktail and a glass of wine each. It was about $125 Canadian including tip.

Everything was delicious but the Acadian Style fish was not my favorite dish. It was good but not what I was expecting. We thought we'd saved room for dessert but, Alas! We were too full.

Incredible view of the lighthouse and the ocean while eating! Absolutely incredible view! The lobster and the snow crab were fresh and good. I would definitely come back even if it's just for the view! Very romantic date place.

We've been touring the maritimes for the last week and a half. We've eaten seafood chowder at many and the one at the Harbour Restaurant on the Cabot Trail in Cape Bretton is by far the best!

Harbour was an awesome stop on our culinary journey, hitting the spot when the craving for lobster hit. Bacon wrapped scallops and lobster tail, as well as a delicious chicken Alfredo were all we needed and Harbour delivered.

Delicious cocktails and fast and friendly service.

I really resisted writing this review after haveing so many wonderful experiences in Cape Breton, but I have to say the food here was just terrible and very over priced for what it was. Cold well over cooked seafood, not fresh at all possibly pre cooked or from frozen. Not at all what you would expect from a place right on the ocean and we visted during lobster season! Save yourself some money and disappointment.

We had the lobster clubhouse sandwich with a garden salad and it was delicious. Server was lovely and very friendly.

Très mauvais restaurant, décevant pour un restaurant de la Cabot Trail.
Après 3 semaines à faire le tour des maritimes et à manger au moins un repas de fruits de mer dans chaque ville, ce restaurant a été de loin le pire.
La chaudrée de fruits de mer goûte le congélateur, le homard est tellement trop cuit qu'il ne goûte plus rien et le steak est très mal cuit.
Les fish and chips n'ont pas l'air d'être maison (ont l'air décongelés et produit commercialement).
Seuls points positifs: mes enfants ont aimé leur croquettes et la serveuse (qui ne parlait pas français) était assez sympathique.

Excellent service for family. We were a table of 11 people (3 kids 7-10yrs.) Food for kids came first. Good seafood.

Best restaurant we went to in the area! The food was amazing and tasted high quality. The service was fast and the workers were very friendly. I will be thinking about that pasta on my drive home. Would 100% recommend

Went here for lunch and dinner our one day in Cheticamp. Staff was extremely friendly, views were lovely, and food was tasty (especially dessert).

Local snow crab, awesome. It’s pricey, but delicious. The locally brewed beer with supper was well suited.

Do not trust the food if you have serious food allergies. This place isn't safe.

They contaminated my food despite denying it even when I was coughing and itching and my voice was hoarse. I informed them of a serious allergy to carrots as I wanted a dish with vegetables prior to the meal, they said they could just give me broccoli. They also stated the carrots weren't steamed with the broccoli, this was clearly incorrect or there was a miscommunication within the kitchen. Once I ate the broccoli and a bit of the potato the reaction started.

They gave me water and asked if I wanted to leave with to go containers and pay my bill. They did give me water and told me where the hospital was, service was kind but did not feel compensatory for having risked my life and left for 2 days itching and questioning severity. I carry an epi and I am anaphylactic.

I never got to eat my meal and neither did my partner as I had to get help. We paid to have me poisoned.

Visited for a late lunch and enjoyed our meal while sitting with a view of the water. The Acadian style cod was unique with the salted pork, the scallops were really good as well. Service friendly and surprisingly fast (in the late afternoon) especially since we didn't order off of the lunch menu.

We had a delicious dinner here that included Broiled scallops and chicken fettuccine. Both were excellent. The staff was also very friendly and efficient. But do expect to pay a bit more here as it is waterfront dining. But for us the view was well worth it!

ASTOUNDING. I didn't think to get picture of the food BEFORE consumption, so here is some of the after math.
Got fish and chips and it was absolutely delectable. My bestie says the tartar sauce was something to behold.

The best we had in Cheticamp. Great food in a really nice and clean atmosphere. Girlfriend said it was the best seafood pasta she has had and my lobster was really well done. Good local beer and a good selection. Highly recommended if you only stop at one place in town.

Steamed mussels were not fresh nor rinsed. The Grilled salmon didn’t appear fresh either.
