Harbour View Apartments

I have been living in the building for the past 6 years and always had issues or complaints.
But… since our new MANAGER of the building took the charge, I am only seeing great work by the company. What a manager and easy to talk. He talks about fixing stuff and finding real solutions for the problems.
I barely write reviews for anybody but this is guy is amazing. Thank you for your great work.

I am a resident for 6 years and I am writing this for people who want to consider this apartments as a resident. Please be very careful and few things are very normal. 1. Bed bugs (that cannot be removed completely) 2. Cockroach 3. Mice. The management usually takes action for bed bugs but for last three years I have only been able to use one bedroom in a 2BHK because one is always having bugs and needs to be empty for pest control. I also feel its not only with me but for other renters. So if you get an apartment somewhere even far I would suggest to consider that. At the end buddy you need a peaceful sleep and not itching in morning. Most of the units are full of cockroach, and mice. If I would have read the reviews I wouldn't have taken this unit. So read and choose best option or come and learn the hard way. Bed bugs (very bad condition), cockroach and mice. All the best.

Gross. Always like this. Plz clean this up. This community need to be clean. Everything else your doing to the property is nice but clean the trash or make the people who did it responsible… it’s ridiculous at this rate.

It’s very amazing place to live. Great apartment, great area close to everything. The apartments are big and the view from the Harbour facing is too good. Also, The management is always helpful and friendly.

I live in unit 0002 tower one, the building is very nice. The surveys are very fast.
I got experience with Mr. Amma, he was very professional and very helpful, I recommended him to everyone.

The place is amazing. The management is fantastic and friendly and always tend to our needs always on Time

I had a great experience with a technician name AMMAR in my unit and I am completely satisfied with his work. He was amazing and have replaced my fridge immediately. Very professional & his behaviour is really good. I would highly recommend him to everyone. *****AWESOME SERVICE***** Thanks a lot to him and building stuff

These buildings are old as the hills and have been infested with roaches as long as I've lived in the city. Had friends living in 2 different buildings and both extremely clean people and both had serious issues with roaches. I think they just come with the buildings. Not sure if they were under the same management then, but they seem to be riding the whole hike rents as high as possible wave just because they can. Last I checked it was just over $2000 for a bachelor Apt.

I don't recommend living here because the living experience has been so miserable, even with repeated complaints made to the rental office and Senior Management, they have been ignored. They will talk a big game while showing the place, act like they care and be great and as soon as you sign the lease, thats it, you are stuck. The majority of the staff in the office are also rude when you express your complaints and often make up excuses or they just ignore you until you suffer so much you leave.

If you don't see the little furry friends like mice, roaches, dont worry, you will see them very soon and you will eventually also get bed bugs because the buildings are infested.

Neighbours and other tenants are rowdy and dirty, they leave their garbage everywhere, the level of disrespect is unbelievable. They all know office wont do anything so the terrible behaviour continues.

I can't even think of one good thing to say. Location? Yeah no, the traffic noise and the constant alarms on the navy base will keep you up.alllll night.

Edit - I have emailed operations and wecare, multiple times, sometimes very week but they don't even have the courtesy to reply so please don't say I should email anyone, because they did nothing and probably never will. Absolute terrible place to live, everyone I have spoken to in the building hates it as well.

New edit 16th May 2023 - all of these 5 star reviews are fake. They are bribing people by offering them lower rent for the month or something similar.
Recently visited for some work and the condition of buildings have not changed. Same smelly, garbage filled halls. Cockroaches crawling up the walls.

Notice the names of the people leaving reviews. Could not expect anything more from this company.

Ryan Ahmed from the rental office has been tremendously supportive. He is the go-to guy always. Besides, haven't had any lasting issues since last 8 months staying here. Services were quick when tickets were raised. Apartments are clean and in a very suitable location having access to at least more than 5 bus stops.

I started living here, the view out is so good, i appreciate Mr. Ryan who is at the rental office, he is a nice young guy and available easily anytime for any help regarding our residential issues. That's why i gave 5 stars.

Ammar is a dedicated person and knows how to perform his work with perfection. Recommend his work.

Fantastic service from Ammar. Very quick and responsive. He did an excellent job fixing a variety of issues in my home with professionalism and efficiency. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor make him a top choice for any home repairs.

We moved in 223 Unit, 5214 Gerrish Street on April 1st in Harbourview Apartments and there were some issues to be honest but the maintenance service they provide is so fast and good, some of their maintenance employees are so cooperative and also expert in their work. I met Amar who came to fit the loose sockets in my house and his work was perfect and I really connected with him.

Second visit of a technician name AMMAR in my unit and I am completely satisfied with his work. He was amazing and have installed the bulbs in no time. Very professional and knowledgeable. The apartments are nice, I viewed couple of units that were posted on Facebook marketplace, but I would advice if you have please get a new lease because the units they provide are really nice, but the previous tenants make it bad and have left a bad review for other guest. The agents at the leasing office especially Ryan has helped me exponentially. He has gone above and beyond to make sure all of the queries as well as the concerns are answers and fixed immediately. The response time of maintenance request if you have any is amazing. They have never bothered us in unnecessary way and also made the transferring of lease very easy and smooth. They is only so much they can do and if you are a human who understands how things work and are ready to be not overly expecting for the things. It’s a really nice place to live.

Excellent staff and service. Whenever I go to the Ryan and Smith, who works in apartment office, for any service request they help me out with that.

Just got visited by Logan and Rayan from the rental office for routine inspection and review. Great team! Always helpful with maintenance and rental concerns.
