One of the best place for contractors. They have everything you need, enough staff to serve you, no line up, and the staff is very friendly, helpful. At the contractors desk Steve does a wonderful friendly service. He knows his job! For me this is the best hardware store around Amherst.

Great service! Had assistance figuring out which gas mower was right for me. Had to guys help load it in the car. Checkout gal was engaging and got someone to load bags of soil in the car. Quick in and out, who could ask for more? !

Superior service as always, they didn't have what I was looking for, offered to order and also looked to see where within Home Hardware the nearest one was as i could not wait for the order to come in (only 4 days but I needed right away).

Wouldn't accept my native status card to help pay for provincial tax. This is my given right and I was declined that right.

It is an expensive place to shop unless your lucky enough to catch what you need on sale, very compacted isles, check your slip before u leave store - price at the register is more expensive than the shelf tag sometimes happened twice in a week unfortunately.

Told me they close at 6. Scheduled a project in the asumption they would be open. Even ordered over the phone priorly and they told me it would be fine. Went there at 5: 30 and they r closed…

I purchased a dehumidifier 11 months ago from Harrison's but it had stopped working when I tried it this spring, Harrison's happily took it back and replaced it with a new unit.

The service from Jackson (hope I spelt it correctly) and the delivery team as well as other staff in store was above and beyond! They really went the extra mile when we needed it! Thank you for delivering our decking boards! We will always remember your kindness ~ again thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Drove from Great Village to Amherst today intending to place an order exceeding $10,000.00 today for material "in stock", and was told
"I won't sell it to you".
I was pleasant, but found the staff at the contractors desk "Rude"

Empty store and no-one to help for a while. Eventually got waved in the general direction of what i wanted.

Very helpful staff. Called ahead and knew exactly what I was talking about and when I got there took me right to the product I needed

The staff was immediate, and extremely helpful. They also were very aware of the supplies I needed for my little project. Very comfortable shopping.

Excellent customer service, always friendly and courteous. Sometimes out of stock of typical items i use for my job, and sometimes takes several weeks to get it back in stock, but still a good little store.
