From the first email to Brandon to our final handshakes with Mike and Brandon, what a fabulous experience we had. The level of professionalism shown by all members of the Harvard Team was nothing less than exemplary! Brandon was quick to return texts and always provided informed answers to our many questions. We appreciated his honesty and upfront manner as we negotiated through the initial aspects of our potential deal. Mike was beyond professional in his manner of dealing with us, he addressed us on a personal level, not just as 'customers' wanting to buy a new car. We felt like we knew just a little bit more about him, his family and Harvard Auto by the time we left the lot. Never did we feel rushed the whole time we were at the dealership. We drove off the lot with confidence feeling if there ever was an issue that we could easily contact Mike or Brandon. I would whole heartedly recommend Harvard Auto and won't hesitate to encourage our friends and family to seek out Mike and Brandon for their next 'new' vehicle. Great job, everyone. Thank you.

Purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot from Harvard a few days ago. Justin (Sales) and Mike (Finance) were great to deal with. No pressure tactics, super friendly, professional, and very reasonably priced. Would definitely purchase another vehicle from this dealership!

Having only ever bought new cars, I was apprehensive about buying used. However, they were exceedingly patient with my questions and friendly to deal with.

I wish I could give them zero.
I usually try to not write biased. I bought a 2007 car from them in 2021. I bought the car with no inspection (my bad) and trusted what they told me.

1. My experience with staff was good, although when I asked them about rust, they didn’t tell me the truth and said car has no rust. I also asked them several times of mechanic issue and response was no issue.
2. I didnt bring the car to mechanic and bought it, then when I went to mechanic, I found out frame is compromised. I did this with 3 other mechanics to make sure. I reached out to Harvard Auto, and dealership manager (Mike) response was so rude and he blamed me for it (I still kept all the emails and papers) called me “messed up person”, and “ridiculous”.

I learned my lesson. If you want to buy a car from them definitely show it to mechanic before.

Cautionary tale

I recently purchased a 2018 Silverado for over 30,000$ from Harvard Auto Sales and was initially happy with my experience. Justin and the sales staff were great through the purchase.
Truck was in showroom shape.
Unfortunately shortly after purchasing the truck the engine light had come on. Surprise to me. I took it to my mechanic right away. Got the engine light scanned. It turns out there was a problem with the air grill shutter. This also affects the remote starter as not to work. Now a compound problem. Also found out the the history of the problem and the engine light had been reset before?
So I contacted Justin about it.
Being I had only had the truck for a couple weeks.
Thought there would be a positive way to resolve the issue. Because they were very helpful when I had purchased the truck.
Unfortunately the response was nothing they could do.
Had recommended that it was no big deal and that I should just leave the engine light on. Also that Justin said they hadn’t made much on the sale!
I was surprised to say the least.
Surprisingly this is the way busy works today. Only find out what a company (Harvard Auto) is like when an issue comes up.
I wasn’t looking for much other than help resolving the issue. Disappointed.
Buying a used vehicle can be challenging. I would recommend getting any vehicle looked at or at least scanned for potential problems. CARFAX is only part of the history.
Unfortunately for me I will have to cover the cost to fix this problem.
It’s easy for a company when everything goes good.
Unfortunately it didn’t this time.
And unfortunately I cannot recommend Harvard Auto sales for a job not done.
But hopefully this will maybe help the next person thinking of purchasing a vehicle.

I sent this to Justin to let him and Harvard Auto know that this would be my review on my experience with them.

They said they would pay for the part and I said I would get it installed. Just wanted to get it fixed. I purchased the part and got installed. Sent invoice for the part so they would know the cost. I even said that they could send me a check for 400$ which was less than the cost of the part. Thought I was being very reasonable. They had to do nothing but send me the check! I did everything.

But yet again they couldn’t get it right.

I waited over 3 weeks and contacted Justin that I hadn’t received the check. He said he seen it processed. So I decided to wait a little longer. Of course no check ever showed up!

Contacted Justin and never heard back. No surprise there. The old just ignore the customer and he’ll give up.

They had every opportunity to address this but failed miserably!

Would never recommend them for anything.

Bought a Ford F150 over a month ago. The sales team did an excellent job helping us find our dream truck. Great service. Many thanks to Jonathon Boudreau who went that extra step for us.

Down side: Make sure you take your vehicle to an independent mechanic and not one associated with Harvard! Hopefully this mistake doesn't end up costing too much!

Update: The truck turned out to have major body damage; the frame was rotten! Spent over 11 thousand on the truck to try to keep it running as it turns out it was a lemon. A hard lesson to learn.

I am very happy to say that I had a great experience buying my 2021 hyundai kona electric. I was so happy to get my first fully electric car. The whole team (Brandon / Steve / Mike) at Harvard was so helpful every step of the way. Would definitely recommend as a great dealership to deal with. Thanks again guys!
