Amazing spot on the lake! Excellent fresh baked goods, delicious scones (a rare find). Very cool atmosphere, fantastic service!

Breakfast wrap was so good. The sandwich was ok. Bread was cut thick and the Mustard was a bit tart for our liking. We also picked up tropical fruit cake and other condiments. Cute place. The service deserves special mention. So kind and patient.

I had the Lox on Rye. It was absolutely delicious. Friendly cosy atmosphere, great food, the kids loved their meals as well.

We stopped at this cafe on our way out of Cape Breton and it was the best find! If I could give them 10 stars, I would! The breakfast sandwiches, lattes and the baked goods were all incredible. The cafe is very quaint and the service was great. Awesome place.

Nice restaurant deli super view. We get sandwich breakfast one egg and vegg.the other with egg and turkey, coconut bar and some home made bread and sugar free crakers. Very good. Thank's

Great food, travelling with a coeliac vegan and they were very quick to come up with things they could make for him. Good vegan options and very helpful staff.

Absolute gem of a place. Had the lobster sandwich and it was the hands down best meal we had on our Nova Scotia road trip (including all sorts of “fine dining restaurants”) Big chunks of fresh juicy lobster, fresh bread etc.perfection. Got a carrot cake for the road (why not), also exceptional quality.

A must visit whenever I am in the area. Staff is wonderful to deal with and food is delicious. General vibe is fun. Highly reccomend

Excellent lobster sandwich - fresh, packed with lobster meet, and served on homemade bread. IMO the half lobster sandwich is more than sufficient for a meal.

Awesome lobster sandwiches, real large size and plenty of lobster on it with great fresh tasting breads.

My husband and I ate here in 1991 while on our honeymoon. I am absolutely thrilled that they are still open. I remember getting a bagel with locks and it was done right.

This is one of the staples in this area of Cape Breton. In my list of favorite eating establishments it always comes in at the top.

We split a lobster sandwich on the oatmeal bread. It was scrumptious even though the server suggested white bread to really taste the lobster. The oatmeal bread was super fresh and just slightly sweet which worked well with the lobster. Bean and spinach soup to round out my meal and my husband had a Caesar salad. Both were tasty. Waiting to enjoy our chocolate cheesecake later.
