Jamie was amazing at helping us yesterday. (29 Aug, 2023). We were supposed to return the car at 1530 but due to some urgent situations we were delayed by 2 hours. When requested the extra charges for two hours were immediately waived off by Jamie. Above & beyond customer customer service expectations.

As a travel agent, I strongly advise against utilizing this particular Hertz location. My sentiments towards this establishment are profoundly negative, and I cannot stress enough how imperative it is to steer clear of it. Unfortunately, my experiences with them have been abhorrent, as they consistently deceive customers and blatantly disregard Hertz regulations. The level of rudeness displayed by their staff is utterly unacceptable, with a dismissive attitude towards Hertz corporate policies.

One alarming issue that I encountered is their practice of accusing customers of causing damage to vehicles after they have been returned. Such actions raise serious concerns about the legality and ethics of their operations. In my opinion, it is essential for a government agency to conduct an investigation into this location to ensure the protection of consumer rights.

Please exercise caution and consider alternative Hertz locations when planning your travels. It is my hope that sharing this feedback will raise awareness and prevent others from encountering similar distressing experiences.

Booked a car through priceline and upon arriving at this location I was told that they could not give me the vehicle that i already PAID for because i have an “N” driver license, despite me renting cars from this hertz location as well as others in the past, namely one month ago at this same location. The person i initially dealt with at the front counter was quite rude and dismissive, and literally didn’t give me more than 15 seconds of his time before turning away from and ignoring me. I called hertz customer service and spoke with a representative as well as looked at the hertz website which just states that renters require a “valid drivers license” which i do have. Further clarified with customer service over the phone who stated that an N drivers license is a valid drivers license. If this is actually a policy it would be on the website or customer service would know. Anyways spent 4 hours dealing with this when i was supposed to be enjoying my trip. Definitely not using hertz again, especially not from THIS location.

We had a nice experience with Hertz Car Rental. Drop off when smoothly.
Observation, still has a lot of cars without GPS in Moncton airport.
Staff, was super helpful. We met a very nice guy at the collection point in Moncton Airport.

Really fantastic representation for Hertz. The location has a very curtailed Hertz Gold presence but the staff are fantastic. On a recent trip, short-staffed, the hardworking staff had no spare employees to handle the Gold line (YHZ has no walk to your car Gold board service) but was super proactive in recognizing a Gold Plus member having to wait 10 minutes and dealt with the situation in the highest degree. Top notch!

Super service - the agent was very friendly, welcoming and patient, and she anticipated my need to upgrade to a more winter-safe vehicle. She even let me keep her pen, lol!

Honestly I did loose all faith in this place last time I visited which was just over a year ago… I decided hey let’s give it another try and it’s really the only place open till the wee hours of the morning. To my surprise I met Nancy who was actually amazing and more helpful than anyone has to be in this position. She went above and beyond to make my experience simple and satisfying. In my personal opinion she should be a manager at this location! She also told me she’s been there 10 months and still has not received her business cards! Hertz as a company has definitely gone down hill a bit but with people like Nancy behind the counter they stand a chance…
Get this amazing lady some business cards! Thanks Nancy your the best.

Well, I didn't get the vehicle that I ordered. I ended up with a charger, and it did cost me more than what I ordered. Hit a snowstorm when we got the vehicle, and we were lucky to even get to our destination without having snow tires on the vehicle. Couldn't move the vehicle for a few days because of the tire situation either. That's about all that was bad about the whole rental thing. I will ask more questions if I rent another vehicle in the future.

Excellent service, drove a brand new car off the lot and didn't have any issues or trouble unlike other rental companies.

The service was amazing. There was a giant line and both employees worked with a smile as quickly as possible. Wait was long and having a third employee would have made a big difference

Was scared of the other reviews at first, but honestly it was great… picked up the car in halifax and dropped it off in toronto, cars with winter tires were available. No extra charges even though I dropped it off after hours (some reviews mention they charge extra for that)

Personally did not get a rental. Was renting a car from Budget rentals and they took our money and scammed us, tried to lie and take our deposit of $400. Now stuck for the rest of the trip we were is obvious distress and this gentleman came to our assistance with the best knowledge he had. I believe his name is Joey. Thanks to Joey we know the proper Do’s and Don’ts now when we are travelling and renting but also he helped us get the information we needed and helped make us feel better about being stranded in a random province and airport. From now on we will use Hertz, never budget EVER again. Thank you Joey you deserve recognition.
