Best coffee in Baddeck, hands down - but also best Chai latte I've ever had. It was very flavourful and strong, not like some wimpy drinks I've had in the past. Awesome

Our breakfast at the Highwheeler Cafe & Bakery was spectacular. Perfect breakfast sandwiches accompanied our bakery treats. I think the cinnamon roll was the best I’d ever had.

Great breakfast place on Cape Breton - best Scottish oatcakes I've ever had. Highly recommend you get 'box lunches' to take on the Cabot Trail - hefty sandwiches, a big cookie, an apple, and a bottle of water for a reasonable price. Their baked goods were fresh, delicious, and definitely not mass produced. Plus a really nice staff.

A wonderful little cafe. That we came for breakfast and lunch to. The owner was very friendly and offered advice about the Cabot Trail.

So cute and the staff is so sympathetic. 17$ is a little bit expensive for a sandwich but it worth it!

We had coffees and treats and staff were awesome. We also got the last molasses home cooked bread and oatmeal cookies. The merchandising is top rate and a great place to hangout.

New ownership has managed to improve on what was already excellent. Some really elevated menu items with all the standard Highwheeler fare we historically enjoyed. The new emphasis on coffee is excellent. The Affogato was incredible and made using local, farm ice cream.

Great tasty selections. Vegan items. Outdoor area we could eat with our dog. Went out of their way to recommend other vegan friendly food restaurants.

An absolute must place to stop when in the Baddeck area. Great breakfast sandwiches. Wonderful home baking. Definitely try the porridge bread and cinnamon buns!

We have been traveling through Canada for the last 6 weeks and this place was amazing. They roast their own coffee and make their own bagels, both were delicious.
We can recommend the salmon bagels and cranberry scones.

We have been coming to this cafe for years. It is really our only true bakery in town and well loved. You can even order certain breads specially made. Keep up the good work!

Everything about this place is high quality — the food, the coffee, the people. Highwheeler will always be my first stop coming into town and my last stop before leaving!

Had the most amazing grilled Foccia ham and cheese sandwich. If it's not on the menu, ask for it!

It’s very best espresso in area, blueberry scones are amazing and the kindness of the owners is remarkable!
