Nice 9km back and fourth hike, the view at the top is nice but far from breathtaking. Worth doing to get some exercise as the climb is nice and steep!

There are a few options for making it to the top of Castle Rock. We did the hardest on the way up, which is the rightmost of the trails. There is some climbing over rocks or down sides required, but isn't too hard for those with decent knees!...

Great spot, some cool falls off the main trail to explore. There were bugs out (mid May 2023), but nothing biting. No ticks on my person. Pretty easy going if you stick to the main trail, its a beaten path, little to no elevation, bit soggy in spots...
