Hole in the Wall Restaurant

Seen online menu… son wanted to try it as he wanted spaghetti and meatballs… I was interested in the steak… however be aware! Their menu is absolutely day/. Time sensitive… we settled for pizza… it was ok.not what we went for… we left abit disappointed…. Obviously my mistake…

We needed a reservation for 6 for the next day's lunch. No Problem. The table was set up beautifully. The service was very professional and all food ordered was very good. One big note was it was the first Seafood Chowder I ordered on my trip.one of 6 I had across Nova Scotia west of Halifax thereafter.

I am saying this because the broth was outstanding compared to the other chowders I ate over 6 days. The taste just stood up above all others. You must try it.

As a foodie, familiar with what NS has to offer, I highly recommend this lovely restaurant, as the food and the service is 5 star. I will come again and again. I had the pizza and it was just perfect. The prices for the lunch items are really good! I like the spontaneous dessert specials like the chocolate crumb lemon tart which was delicious. Congratulations.

I thought location is great. Service was very good. I appreciated the large bottles of water as we sat and refilled without asking. The food was hot and delicious. Staff very accommodating. I will be back soon. The best dining experience in a long time.

I didn’t see any info on the website regarding the change in the cook staff. I was very disappointed when I was told that the sumptuous photos from the reviews seen here are no longer in the menu (lobster dip, seafood chowder, lasagna, to name a few). Drove about 45 mins to get here only to be disappointed from the limited menu options.

To be fair:
Giving 2 stars for the taste and location.
We ordered cheese pizza, rigatoni, and butternut squash risotto. Venue and location is above average. Wait staff is friendly. They were able to accommodate our $15 lunch menu item although we have placed them at 2: 30 (wait staff allowed).

Incredible food. Pizza was amazing and the vegetable soup! Service was fantastic. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend:)

-Unique and interesting menu (With vegan and GF options!)
-Reasonable prices
-Good craft beer and Wine options (no tap, tho)

You will not be disappointed!

A little bonus that was BEYOND sweet (pun intended) : our server knew there were no vegan options on the menu for desert, so she brought us out some oreo cookies! Talk about thoughtful!

Amazing food and service! Lots of GF and vegetarian options, and amazing flavour. Weekly rotating menu keeps things exciting! Lots of local options as well, with a great covered patio.

Not a thing to complain about. It a higher end eatery so kids may not enjoy it as much as the adults. A definite date night place.

Wow this place is AMAZING! I could not believe I was eating something this delicious in Windsor. We were out as a party of four. Everyone loved their chosen meals. I can't wait to go back again!

I'm a big pizza fan and was recently blown away by their pizza. It definitely made my top 5 list. Amazing ingredients and well prepared. I will be back again and again.

The decor promises so much and then disappoints. Service was slow - 10 minutes or more before our drinks order was taken and another 10 minutes before the drinks were served. The waitress clearly did not want to be working; she was somewhat grumpy. The food itself is perhaps a 3 out of 5 and several opportunities to improve the offerings were missed by the kitchen. Lastly, the door to the patio slammed loudly every few seconds, which we found distracting as we waited for the next loud bang. Oh, and the ventilation needs to be fixed; the dining room was hot and stuffy. So, all in all, not worth the $160 we paid.

Had a terrific meal and perfect service.
We’ll be back. We need more places like this.

What a new find. A friend and I stopped in to try it out this Windsor eatery. Very friendly staff, the chef even greeted us. Fantastic Mussels in wine appy, amazing Lobster Club House sandwich. My mushroom ravioli was so good, I did an order to go for dinner at home. TRY THIS PLACE.

Had the burrito bowl and pulled pork Mac n Cheese and it was delicious! Serving size was perfect and it was super easy to order online and pick up.
