Spent almost 60$ youngest child I brought is 5 but she is very tiny. They wouldn’t let her play on the smaller side because she was 5 even though I’m like look at her size. She’s almost too small for the big size. Shouldn’t go by age but size. Not inclusive at all.

Attended a birthday party for our grandchildren. A great place for the kids to slide, swing and play.

This was a really great experience for my family, especially my son. We took him here for his 2yr birthday and he had a blast! Only gripe is that the menu options for food and drink are limited, however the experience my son had made up for that.

Brought out my son for the first time a month ago, he was so happy and excited to play with everything. Great staff, and cafeteria was also great. Will definitely recommending to other friends (Parents), and other Parents if ever asked for a suggestions for a great indoor playground in Halifax. 5 star rating in my eye's!

Children enjoyed well. But charge is bit expensive for such a short area equipments, I felt so.

We hosted our sons 5th birthday party here and the kids had a great time. We booked the blue room and I appreciated the easy access this room has to the play space. It definitely entertained 10 x 5 year olds for an hour, and then they made their way into the party room for snacks, cake and presents. Overall a great experience. Ash was running the show all by himself, as one of his staff called in sick. I did not feel like we were missing anything he was very attentive and calm in the face of opening for a 9am party with no support. The only criticism I would have is the space did feel warm and a little muggy, but that could be because the air system had just been turned on for the morning. We will be taking the kids back soon.

Nice place, really children love it. Best for above age 3. Just for information, socks are mandatory, please bring along with you or you can buy from reception and cost around 4 cad.

Sara and the team were amazingly helpful and kind. Everything was very clean and organized and the best part was all the other guests- everyone seemed to enjoy the space even with the birthday party.

Great space for young ones. Youngest is 2 and he was able to navigate pretty well the entire playground on his own which is fantastic, no awkward area he gets stuck in or areas that are inaccessible. The room rentals are also great for parties, staff are friendly and very helpful. The room we got was massive and had a sink and fridge in it which exceeded expectations. Might be our favorite of the big indoor playgrounds in the area!

Great place to play and reasonable prices. It states very clearly on their website what time they close, so the reviews complaining that parents didn't expect the closure are not very fair. Place was clean, snacks were reasonably priced, and the kids I brought (9 & 12) both had a great time. We were here for over 2 hours. Would definitely come back!

I loved the interior. It is a perfect place for your kid to spend some good time and move their body a little bit.they have everything what attracts kids️

Not the best indoor playground though. The staff members are rude, the area for older children is so boring. No manager to talk to. There are places that are much better with better price. I do not recommend anyone to go there.

My child was recently there for a birthday party and had a blast. However, my child got injured on the trampoline and when my husband asked for ice, he was given a frozen fajita. You're dealing with children daily and should have a safety routine with supplies and courtesy essentials for such occurrences. Manager/owner should look into this. I will certainly be looking into seeing if the city or health and safety board can pay a visit. My child ended up in the ER due to their injury but the lack of preparedness for any form of injury boggles our minds.

The best indoor play place for children! Just have to remember the earlier closing hours (7pm). Such a great atmosphere It feels clean, lovely area to store coat and belongings, clean and colurful bathrooms, very thoughtful Café and plenty of great sitting areas for both parents and children! Also wonderful and patient staff!

Affordable and a great way for the kids to run around and burn off some pent up energy. Very clean and there is a nice sitting room for the parents and a cafe.

Best place ever to have a Birthday party. The children receive an all day pass and you get a room for two hours which they clean after you are done. The room was great, the kitchenette has a sink, fridge, and some counter space. Plus it has a separate bathroom which was handy. Everyone had a fantastic day!

First time going and my family loved it! Clean, safe and easy to climb around with a toddler. The only tiny problem I seen and overheard people complaining about was the sitting area was covered in jackets and no one could sit on the chairs. There is a lot of space for coats, so not sure why people do that. That's it though, otherwise the place is fantastic! Definitely reccomend and will be going back!

Very affordable rates for all day play and the chance to leave and come back if needed. Both our kids had a blast on all the equipment, and it never felt over crowded.

Great for birthday parties or just a way for your kids to burn some energy off! This places gets very busy in the winter time but in the summer, it's a great spot to go on a hot day when trying to escape the heat. There is a cafe to buy food a drink, open lockers for storage, and comfy couches while you sit and watch your kids. They have a toddler section as well which is great when you want your 1-3 year olds to stay off the big equipment!

Staff don't monitor the area of the kids to make sure that older kids are not using it badly hurting others kids.my kids come back home crying from a group of kids throwing ball at them.we complained to the lady at the front desk but no action, did not care.will never go back again.

You only pay for children over 2 years old. We were a family with 6 adults and 4 children, two of the children were just over the age of 2, and I believe taxes included it was $13 and change per child. No payment for adults or children under 2. They have comfortable adult chairs at the front of the play centre to be able to carefully watch the younger ones. (The front portion is for children 4 years and younger - to primary or school aged children allowed). This is nice because my 7 month old niece and my 4 and a half month old niece could crawl around and play freely without worry of older kids bumping into them or knocking them older.
In behind the baby/toddler area there is a much higher play/climbing area (everything is netted in for safety on both sides. The older kids side has higher, longer slider, longer tunnels to crawl through, as well as some kind of nerf ball laser tag.
They have a very small cafe area mainly for adults - with the exception of perhaps milk/juice/bottled water. Along with coffee and coffee adjacent drinks, they serve light fare such as sandwiches, veggies etc. Bring small snacks your children are accustomed to having. However note that outside food is not allowed - so don't pick up a fast food kids meal or pizza or something similar, you can't bring it inside. We stayed for about 2-2 and half hours, and of course the children didn't want to leave. We went on a Monday DURING normal school hours so none of the children there were over 4 years old, and it was so much quieter and relaxed than it would be if older kids were there.
There are of course bathrooms onsite with baby change tables. Side note - You must have socks on. No shoes are allowed in the play area, and no bare feet are allowed. There is a box where you can borrow (or "rent" socks for that visit only. No thanks) I had my own socks with me. Since I brought my own socks, I confess I don't know how the sock exchange works. Bottom line - just bring your own; if you don't have any for you or the children ~ Walmart is less than 5 minutes away. I will definitely return to
Hop! Skip! Jump! With family or children of friends. But will make sure it on a school day. There could be some improvements to the café and what they serve, I'm not suggesting they add junk food, but not everyone wants a tomato cheese and cucumber sandwich.
My only safety concern that I noticed is with the four steps going down to the toddler play area, it does have multiple handrails across the length of the steps, but it's adult height. I'd recommend and hope that they put more support rails inbetween so no toddlers fall under it, and get hurt, but also so they have something more suited to their height/needs to keep them safe.
For the time being, I'll still give 5 stars, and hope and remind management and staff of these issues and safety concerns.

It's a place where kids will run and play for as long as you let them. Has an area for toddlers as well. It's very loud, however. There is a lot of echo, and there's also some sort of compressed air toy that makes a lot of noise. Kids love it. Parents tolerate it. They also have a cafe and party rooms.

Great place to bring kids, healthy snacks, not overpriced at all and the staff are always super pleasant.we love it here!

Just remember to bring socks for your child and remember to use basic hygiene rules when going to any indoor playground!

Busy on rainy days but the kids always have a blast. Friendly employees and easily accessible bathrooms.
Prices are a little high for snacks and drink but nothing too outrageous if you are prepared for it!

NOT SAFE FOR TODDLERS. We spent over $25 for our two kids, but had to leave in under an hour, because we didn't feel our 18 month old was safe. Several unsupervised kids who looked to be over 6/7 years old repeatedly came into the toddler area (restricted to under 4s), playing roughly. Our toddler was knocked over twice, despite our supervising him closely. We don't blame the staff - two nice teenaged girls who also had to run the cafe at the same time - but they couldn't keep control of the toddler area, even after I alerted one of the young women that the area was not being used safely and that my toddler had been knocked over once already. Understaffed, with young staff not equipped to deal with irresponsible parents too busy on their phones. It was also extremely hot and stuffy and uncomfortable.

Hop Skip Jump is a great place to take your kids on a rainy day, although keep in mind lots of other parents will likely be trying to seize that same opportunity. If your child is under 1 they are free. They allow you to rent out rooms for birthday parties and the staff does a great job of facilitating all of your party goals. I'm 26 and I even have fun running around the big play area with my daughter. Make sure to bring extra socks because there are no shoes allowed in the play area and if your child steps in something that could mean game over. You do not want to be the parent that has to drag their child out of Hop Skip Jump prematurely. Overall a great place and a very child oriented atmosphere.

This is by far the nicest children's play place I've been too! Very well designed and very clean. The cafeteria is also great with good food options!

Paid 300$ just for a room.it was a really nice room.but thats 30$/kid. They interupted my kids present opening to get "the money". Didnt supply food or decor.my Daughter had a great time but one of her friends got hurt cause of so many kids climbing UP the slides. They should have someone randomly going through to check on kids misbehaving.
