I Love Pho

We love going here and have been at least 5 times in the last year. However, during our last visit, we found the soup was too salty compare to the past. We had to ask for a glass of hot water to water down the soup.

Hopefully this is a one off as we would love to come back in the near future.

They are clearly engaging in discrimination. The tall waiter ignored us, and after waiting for 10 minutes without attention, we had to find a table ourselves and grab menus. Even after waiting another 10 minutes, the waiter assisted other customers promptly, overlooking us. This experience is frustrating – not pleased with this place.

This is the best Pho I've ever had! The portions are huge and the service is excellent! I had one bowl inside and bought one to go, too. I also had their rolls, very delicious and fresh! Definitely coming back with my family!

The food is legit, delicious and authentic. Very simple decor as the focus is on the food. Easy to park just off the Bedford Hwy.

Great mom and pop pho place. Had the ox tail soup and regular pho tai and both were great in their own way. Kids enjoyed it as well.

They got that heavenly broth.

My visit was great, and the service was on point.

I ordered three dishes, and the entree was okay, but Bun Bo Hue and Pho were at their own league. Extremely close to what you could get in Vietnam. Portions were decent for 18 dollars. I wish they could add more meat to my food, but everyone needs to make money, I know.

If you want something that tastes good, is authentic and affordable, they are worth your visit

Terrible customer service, the waiter needs to fix his attitude. If I could give zero star, I would. The food was okay, nothing special.

My husband and I really enjoyed food here. My husband ate their vermicelli dish without saying a single word cause he was really into it lol.

Love the food. Price is reasonable. Service is fast. I normally go once a month for this delicious treat.

My husband is craving for some Asian food and happened to find this one near our stay, wasn’t expecting too much but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! I had shrimp pad thai and my husband had oxi tail pho, he said the oxi tail was a little chewy but the broth was decent. I ordered mine extra spicy and the waiter brought me fresh cut red chilies!

Terrible customer service, not sure if the owner is Vietnamese but with this unfriendly customer service, I don’t recommend anyone to this restaurant.

Attended this restaurant after a friend’s recommendation! Delicious pho, but it’s very important to know that when they write “spicy” on the menu, they really mean it. Ordered the spiciest pho on the menu and was only able to eat a quarter of the bowl before my mouth was too swollen. Most painful meal ever, but such a delicious flavour. The space is a bit crowded, though the service is excellent. Can’t wait to go again and order a less spicy dish to fully enjoy the experience!

We came here twice in July and our first experience with the restaurant was pretty good. Pho was good and the service was also nice. We stopped by again on Wednesday, July 19th and it was quite rainy out but we asked if we could sit at the patio. The server said something but we didn’t get it clear, so it was our fault for not confirming his answer and headed out to the patio. Around 5 minutes later he peeked his head out, not coming out and telling us properly, peeked his head out and told us “I said no patio”, I’m quoting him now because it was so impressive how he talked to customers. Quite disappointing because we like the food there and our other server was really nice. We left after that and did not get food.

Service: Didn’t let families sit together.
Food: Didn’t try because we left.
Atmosphere: The vibe of the place was bad. None of the employees greeted us or smiled. There was also a reserved table that they let us sit in even though it was reserved for someone else.
Defiently would not recommend to go here.

I am a frequent I Love Pho customer, mainly for their Pho and Bun Bo Hue. I highly recommended both, they taste very good with decent portion. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, and the waiter is always helpful and friendly.

Good food, service can be a bit slow. But we try to not be in too much of a rush and enjoy it.

A little pricey for the portion size you get + the atmosphere of the place. Also the quality doesn’t match the price. However the service was pretty good and fast considering we came in on a busy night.

Great food every time. Spicy beef Banh Mi was exceptional. Waiter is attentive and personable. Woman who owns it took her time to come speak with us, been several times, will definitely be back many more. Highly recommend

Tip top pho. I only give reviews when something is horrendous (hotels) or incredible (food). Halifax is so fortunate to have this place. I’ll remember this broth for years and the next time I’m in Halifax, I’m coming straight here. Well done!
