I was recommended this salon by a friend. My daughter and I went for a bang trim with Dominique. She was very friendly and helpful. We have booked a haircut and foils with her so we are excited to see how it turns out. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and polite also. She greeted us with a smile on her face.

I have been a satisfied client. Actually, I’ve been more than merely satisfied: I’ve been really pleased, and always loved my hair after every visit.

I’ve had time to think about the fact that while I was not pleased this one time, and was quick to give a poor review…… I don’t think I’ve taken the time over the years to give well deserved positive feedback online. I always do in the salon, but not publicly.

This was only one disappointing visit after years of exceptional service. So thank you now for those years, and the lovely apology.

I’ve been a satisfied client for quite a few years.
I arrived 5 minutes before my 9: 30 am appointment this morning. I’d received the reminder text, and checked in as I always do. My coat was taken, I was asked if I’d like anything to drink, and I was invited to sit to wait for my appointment with Nadia. Lovely as always.
I waited…. And waited……and waited. I was seated in the end chair facing reception. I caught their eyes multiple times. No one approached me. The two women at the desk completely ignored me.
I approached the desk approximately twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, asking if there was a problem. The woman who responded seemed unaware that anything was amiss.
I actually had to -very nicely -remind her of my name and appointment time (it was NOT busy: I was the only person waiting).
She went to find the stylist who was doing foils on someone else. I was asked if I’d like to wait at least another ten minutes.
I was VERY polite and gracious as I said no thank you.
I found another salon today, and enjoyed my visit.
No idea what went wrong- I wasn’t even offered an explanation.
I was very offended and I won’t be returning.
I wasn’t going to bother with a review- however your salon might want to make sure this doesn’t happen again to someone else.

PS: I really hope that the fact that I was wearing a mask was not the issue! I’m going to a niece’s wedding tomorrow and there will be fragile older guests, as well as my dear sister in law who has been fighting breast cancer. I will do everything I can to protect them- including wearing a mask. I have good reason to ask this, though I won’t embarrass an employee publicly.

I recently went to Imagine for a colour fix due to a prior unfortunate experience at another salon and in hopes of finding a new long term salon. While we initially experienced some unexpected issues due to the previous work done on my hair, Ian and Rachel ensured that I was back in the chair quickly and Nadia did a beautiful job correcting the colour. Ian gave me a beautiful cut. I also had a manicure with Kelly who gave me one of the best manicures I have ever had. The staff are exceptionally kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Imagine.

Julien Benard is a great stylist. He is easy going and always makes my hair look exactly like I want. He also has great suggestions on how to make it look good. I would not hesitate to recommend him or any member of the team at Imagine.

I am a Muslim hijabi. I’ve been to imagine salon twice. My first time was very nice and welcoming. My second time, not so much…
Imagine salon claim that they are accommodating to hijabis by giving them privacy. They use a small see through room divider frame and cover it with a red blanket. I appreciate the effort. However the last time I went, the stylist I was given showed frustration and made me feel like I’m a difficult client because I needed privacy.
Made me feel unwanted and too much of a hassle to get as a client. She asked me if there are places that accommodate I said yes but they’re always fully booked. She said I should try to book earlier that way I can find a spot. She told me how it’s on the stylists to figure out a way to deal with the stand and that it’s a lot to do while styling. I asked for ways I can deal with my hair falling. She told me it’s probably because I cover it with the hijab 90% of the time. Suggested ‘breathable material’. Compared my hijab to a guy wearing a cap. That’s why their hair fines faster.
Please note that all this was said to me with a straight face. Not a hint of curiosity or understanding. I just felt like I was looked down upon and belittled with every word coming out of her mouth. Some people see this as rude. I saw it as pure racism. To me accommodation and attitude trumps talent. And I learned her name and I won’t be requesting her anymore.
If you claim to be a Salon that can accommodate privacy I suggest you choose hairstylists that are open to accommodations and aren’t opening up convos only to complain about how hard it is to actually accommodated and suggest I go somewhere else that’s ‘’more equipped”.

The reception staff are warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly but professional!

I have my hair styled by Nadia who is an awesome hairstylist; easy to talk to, professional, patient in giving you time to explain what cut you're looking for and also brilliant with her own guidance!

I feel comfortable to follow her suggestions and have not once walked away feeling dissatisfied with the cut! This is the most comfortable I have felt in a salon; so a big thank you to Nadia and the team for such positive experiences.

I would highly rate this place!
