Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS)

3 stars is given for those employees who are very helpful. Especially, Jenna the employment support for new immigrations. But some of the employees there are unfriendly. Some of them are impatient with ESL English learners. Even they are language advisors. You don't need to show your arrogance that you can speak English well to ESL English learners who are struggling with English, even you are native English speaker.

Phoned in at 11 am on a Monday and received a message telling me ISANS would be open from 8: 30 in the morning until 8: 30 in the evening Monday to Friday and then got hung up on.

Teachers are very nice, professional, and considerate. I enjoy going there.

Institutions that provide services to new immigrants, the number of new immigrants is huge, and the service capacity is obviously insufficient

They were very caring and attentive, everything was calm, they clearly explained what to do next, helpful and polite workers.

An organization where immigrants can get a refund for a medical board, get a travel card for a year. Also assistance in compiling a resume and enrolling in English courses. There are Ukrainian and Russian speaking staff
