I have no exact words that can describe the beauty of this place

It's hard for me to express the gratitude I feel for a person I've never met. You found a wallet I left behind after a golf weekend with 23 other guys. It wasn't my normal wallet with credit cards, id and that stuff. It was a separate wallet with about $350 of my own cash and another $715 I'd won for hitting a hole in one the day before. As stupid as it sounds, I stashed the wallet in a hiding place and forgot it when I was gathering everything else you bring on a trip like this. Not only did you give the money back, you didn't take the reward I offered for your honesty! You are one special person; one whom I've never met, yet at the same time I'll never forget. To the owner of Ingonish Chalets, you have one incredibly honest person on your staff that is to be commended for the integrity and service she brings to your business. Thank you so much!

Wish I had known how great this place is, I booked other nights at same rates but not nearly as nice. Definitely staying here the whole week next time.

We had a great experience in Ingonish Chalets. The cottage was very cozy and clean. Perfect location, minutes from fantastic trails! Highly recommend it!

Nous étions dans la ch 4 du motel, super chambre, très propre, grande, bien équipée. Notre préférée dans notre road trip des maritimes.

Roomy, comfy chalet with a complete kitchen, pots and pans, A/C and cable TV. A+ location, close to everything in Ingonish and just a 5-minute walk away from a private beach. The only downside for us was water pressure in the shower, but I think this is to be expected in a wild, natural environment. Loved our stay and we’d definitely book again! Great quality for the price.

Well located, quiet, cozy cabins with comfy beds and a rustic feel! Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Living room could use a more comfortable sofa/sleeper and sofa chair instead of the futon and wooden rocking chair.

Very clean comfortable cottages. Very well stocked. Justa short walk from the beach. Would definitely stay again.

We made this spot a great tradition every fall! Nothing but good to say, UNTIL October 2022. Since Covid obviously you don’t see anyone, it’s contactless check in and out etc, which is fine, we’re pretty self sufficient. For us cleanliness is key, first and foremost, understand that I have nothing against dogs lol, however, immediately upon entering our cabin the smell was a bit predominant, no biggie, we opened the windows, temps were 12degrees at check in Our happy went to blah when we sat on the sofa only to find it absolutely covered in beach sand and dog hair. Still, no biggie, I called to see if we could borrow a shop vac… then it becomes frustrating, calls go to voicemail, upon walking up to the office knocking at the door you’re greeted by a locked door and directions to call, everything is contactless etc. Probably the most frustrating part is noting the warning on the booking that there’s a fee, $25 I believe, for cleaning if you’re bringing a pet.obviously I wanted it known that the mess wasn’t ours first off and aside from that we wanted a spare blanket to throw over the sofa to watch tv. At close to 300 a night I think the least this place could do is return your call when you leave your number, I’m not big on change but our fall tradition may be taking a detour around this place in 2023, I get the covid way of life but you still need to be available for your guests! We travel across the Maritimes year round and have for years, I’ve left two reviews online in my life, a hotel without functioning heat during our stay and this place without being properly cleaned or staffed, I don’t feel the need to complain about the little things but people need to do better than Ingonish Chalets
