Inn at Glendyer (The)

Stately house over 150 years old with so much charm and local history. Esther and Alan are among the finest bed and breakfast hosts in the Maritimes. Scrumptious breakfasts.

We had an amazing stay, clean and comfortable room, a great wholesome breakfastto start the day out perfect. Exactly what we wanted from a B&B. The recommendations for food, music, hiking, and beaches were also perfect. I hope we have a chance to visit again. Thanks!

Alan and Esther are marvelous hosts, greeting us by name on our arrival. Our room (#2) was spacious, well equipped and super clean. The breakfasts were always hearty, great variety and nutritious. They carefully met our dietary restrictions and preferences with a smile, and we were often provided additional home baked snacks for the day. Alan and Esther gladly provided tips and suggestions for sites and activities in the area, and always wanted to hear about our day upon our return to Glendyer at the end of the day. Feels like home. Highly recommended. Beautiful quiet setting with a well maintained walking trail accessible from the property.

Wonderful place with wonderful hosts. I highly recommend staying here. It is a true jewel. Make sure to read about the rich history of the place (and to try Alan’s shortbread!).
