I wish I had made sure I got the name of the man who helped me but he was so kind. Even recommended me places for other things for good prices. The others working there too were very quick and helpful. I just wanted to say that the man I talked to mostly during my visit was just excellent. Would recommend this location (36 peakview way) Thanks for getting that screw out and patching it up!

Went to this establishment for my oilchange the tech told me the internet was down they wouldn't be able to provide me with a work order but would email me one when the internet was up and running that was 11/2months ago. I will never take my vehicle back here

I don't live in Bedford, but I drive out to this place any time I need an oil change because they're the best! Fast, friendly, professional, outstanding service especially compared to experiences I've had at other places around Halifax. I don't know a lot about cars and I used to stress about bringing my car in for anything, even regular tire and oil changes, but they've completely changed the experience for me. They've brought my attention to things I had no idea about my car without making me feel bad for not knowing, are always happy to answer any questions and always seem like they genuinely just want to give all the information and options possible. Truly recommend this place, they are so good at what they do.

I’ve been going to this Jiffy Lube for three years for oil change, snow tires, battery change and more. I highly recommend this location as their friendly and professional staff go the extra mile and really show excellent customer service! Jay and John are always so positive and willing to help, I can’t say enough about this crew!

Fast service, knowledgable technicians. Don't even have to leave your vehicle. Prices are competitive. 1st time I've used this service but would definitely use it again.

The best experience I've ever had when it comes to maintaining my truck. Matt was genuinely such a sweetheart - showed me a whole bunch of things I should know as a vehicle owner, told and showed me exactly what was wrong with my truck in words I could understand, and recommended a mechanic to go to. All around a very nice (and helpful!) experience. The oil change itself was very quick and a good price. Highly recommend, especially if you don't know much about your vehicle!

Had a bit of a issue the other evening with a loose heat shield. Pulled into these guys. They were phenomenal. Took care of me within 20 minutes and had me back on the road.

Were able to get me in quickly to have my tire repaired and back out onto the road. Very friendly staff and would recommend this place to anyone.

Waited 3 hours for a off rim tire change (don’t mind as much). They let someone who arrived almost 2 hours after me to cut in front because they were in the wrong lane (but when I was in the wrong lane I had to go in the back of the line again). After I got in they said they couldn’t change my tires because they didn’t have the equipment for it.i. Shouldn’t have allowed someone to cut in front of other customers. Use the same policy for all your customers.ii. Have someone go out and take a look at your customers tires if you literally don’t have a machine to do work for certain tires

I Highly do NOT recommend you use this service. Much like other negative reviews, I recently brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change. Shortly after returning home, I noticed oil pouring down my driveway because of their shotty work.

After bringing my car to my dealership for inspection, I was told by the technicians that the oil filter wasn’t sealed/installed properly and the oil was over filled at the dip stick.

When I tried to get my money back from jiffy lube - 36 Peakview Way, Halifax NS, the “manager” became extremely defensive and rude. I didn’t end up getting my money back because the manager had to “email the owner”. 2 weeks later I still haven’t heard anything back from the business.just an update got my refund back from company as of may 11 th took a while but they ended up doing the right thing thank you

Took in a flat tire and after a 45 min wait the incompetent worker told me it was impossible to repair. The next day I took it somewhere else. They plugged it in 10 mins. Pathetic. A simple tire needing a plug? I'd hate to trust Jiffy Lube with a major job.

Wonderful customer service, extremely informative and they were not pushy with upselling like similar businesses are. Price is higher than a traditional mechanic/garage but you're paying for convenience‍️ worth it in a pinch!

What could possibly cost 6.99 in shop supplies from a simple oil change? Am I buying a whole package of paper towels? This is a money grab tactic if not plain theft!

I had the worst experience imaginable. How do you screw up something as basic as an oil change? By using the lowest quality filters available and by adding too much oil that's how. It was so bad that it tripped the knock sensor in my Santa Fe (during the worst winter storm so far this year) and not knowing what the cause was, had to have immediate service at a dealership which actually cost me less than Jiffy Lube. Tried to get a refund, but they only covered what it cost to have their shoddy work undone. Not even an apology to go along with it. They can keep the $35 difference for all I care, I simply won't ever go back.

Great service, the Tech.saw that my serpentine belt was frayed and recommended I have my vehicle towed to a garage, saving me $$$.

This place made me feel so taken care of. I will definitely continue taking my business here, the staff were very helpful and great at answering questions. They were eager to show and demonstrate to me what they were doing which I greatly appreciated. I feel like I can personally keep my car well maintained due to the insight they offered me.

My daughter got my first oil change there on my new Jeep, I went back for the second and it was the last…. Waited a long while for someone (in front of the only window that said oil change) then the guy that came out after more than ten mins and he said with a healthy amount of sarcasm that I was at the wrong door…… not a great experience

I'm very pleased after my first visit to Jiffy Lube. The staff were very professional and knowledgable. I was in and out in 10 minutes and didn't even have to get out of my car. I would highly recommend these guys for your next Oil change!

I got the flat tire and I have to work until five, and that’s the closest car shop for me. I carry on my new tire and the guy over there used 15mins took off my spare tire and put new one on! And then he even wiped the scratches off of the ram for me! Really nice guy! Highly recommended!

The team was quick and professional, prices are comparable to other oil change places. They gave some great advice on my Hyundai which may or may not turn out to be really helpful. I'd go back and I would recommend them to my family.

Careful to watch milage between oil changes the often give you only 5000km between oil change instead of 5000 miles so they get you back sooner than needed

This morning I had a flat tire and I was overdue on an oil change. They took me right away, no appointments are necessary which really works for me, I was in and out in record time, both gentlemen were extremely professional and personable. I loved this experience, moving forward this will be the only place for me. I highly recommend it

Fantastic service! A very friendly and efficient staff member served us. We plan to continue to use jiffy lube at Parkview! I highly recommend them for oil changes and seasonal tire change overs.

My husband and I went to Jiffy Lube Halifax today for the first time and definitely give Trevor and Ed 4 thumbs up for the service they provided! We were super skeptical at first due to the AWFUL experience we had at the Dartmouth location— the girl there was uneducated and in the end, costed us extra money. We took our 2011 Sierra there for a simple oil change. That part was great. After the oil change, the girl in the bay under the truck did the complimentary check that they always do. She was saying this is ok and that’s ok then she said “bell housing is sweating almost to the point of leaking” when I heard that, my jaw dropped. I said to my husband “bell housing … that’s the transmission! ” He asked the service tech what that meant and we were advised to take our truck to a certified transmission shop to have it looked at.keep in mind we had just gotten the transmission rebuilt 4 months previous to this, so of course, I was nervous to hear there might be a problem with it. After we left Jiffy Lube, I scheduled an appointment with a transmission tech (not the same guy who rebuilt the transmission as I was then skeptical of his work and wanted it checked by someone else). We brought our truck in the next day for diagnostics… after an hour of torture, the guy (laughing) said “there’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with this transmission, except for the oil that was spilled on it when the oil was drained and the filter changed.we paid the guy $120 for his time and service and left.
Needless to say, we were quite disappointed with the staff at Jiffy Lube in Dartmouth. I appreciate the free look over; however if you don’t know what you’re talking about maybe it’s just best to not offer your opinions to customers and save them the headache of thinking something is wrong when there’s not!

Quality service just really overpriced almost 130$ for me to put my new all seasons on my rims and balance them. I could get an mvi, tire install and balance for 156$ with tax elsewhere

Experience was great, wasn't rushed even though it was near closing. No tipping available on debit, which I think there should be.

Terrible customer service. I've went twice at the Larry utek location, and on both occasions never a good experience. Won't go back, would rather wait 2 hours at the Mr lube lineup.

Went in for an oil change after having bad experiences at other shops, and I was not disappointed. Service was fast and thorough, the staff were friendly and on top of their game. This will definitely be my new go-to spot for oil changes!

I went to Jiffy Lube for the first time today after usually going to Mr. Lube - only to find out that at my last Mr. Lube service they had created problems with my oil pan (my car is only 2 years old). The staff were extremely friendly, explained everything to me step by step, and gave me the option to return to Mr. Lube for a repair. I asked if they could just fix it for me and they were more than happy to! Staff appeared to be very knowledgeable about the work they do and I will be returning!

Jiffy Lube. Well, I have never went to a drive thru auto shop before and have my set place in the city where all my vehicles go but I point needed a valve stem replaced so called around on a Saturday, maybe Sunday, and Jiffy Lube was open and ready for the task.
They replaced the valve stem on my tire and it was a cheap fix but when they pulled the valve stem through, there may have been a burr inside the rim or a screwdriver poke it and the stem was leaking. I noticed this several days later but the receipt said seven day warranty so I went back on day six and they remembered me and had no problems fixing the issue and for free.
The only problem that I have with the finished job is that they put the tire on so the black is out and not the white so I have an odd tire now but the job was looked after and they treated me great.

Will definitely go back if I need to.

First things first, these guys are WAY overpriced when it comes to everything. I got charged $130 for a synthetic oil change when the Jiffy Lube in Toronto only charges me $70. Surrounding shops also only charge me $70 here.
Secondly, tire changes are more expensive than average. $44.99+ tax for a simple swap when other shops do it for $30+ tax.
Thirdly,
They are refusing to unload and load customer tires from their vehicles due to covid while other shops employ safe practices so their techs can still do the job. I had to help a lady unload her tires because the techs refused to do so.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Don't waste your time and money here.

Pulled into the Larry Utec location and in less than 5 minutes and was met by Sam and Colton with smiles and insight into my questions. They gave me helpful tips and very professional service! Will recommend to anyone

I decided to stop buy for a quick oil change on my 2015 Ram 2500 diesel. Turned out it took them about 45 minutes, which is reasonable, because we also changed both fuel filters which can be a challenge on these rams. The oil plug was pulled (in the follow up I was told it had not been pulled) by the time the top guys had my price pulled up as $532.36 for the oil change and 2 fuel filter replacement. I was shocked at the price and asked for a breakdown which revealed 3 big numbers: Diesel oil change with synthetic oil $189.99, fuel filter $189.99, fuel filter $129.99, plus extra oil $11.18, special filter change $2.99, shop supplies $4.99, enviromental fees $3.23.
Too late (I thought so, but they tell me you can drive out with no service done) to back out now, I told them I thought I only paid around $300 at the dealer including 1 fuel filter, so my bill was reduced by $15.00. Me not being a person who likes to complain in front of someone I have hired (by driving into bay), decide to drive home and check my cost of Oil change at Blakies in Truro, and found I paid only $199.90 plus $66.99 for the one fuel filter.
Now I have checked Amazon.ca for the fuel filters and anybody can buy the identical 2 pc fuel filter set for $50 shipped for free (they agreed that this is so).
The guys did not know (that person was in training, and instead of going for help to his boss, tried to figure out with me together) how to reset my oil and fuel filter life, so I had to figure that out myself, plus their list of 12 items they promise to check only have maybe 4 or 5 of them done (they admitted not having done all of them).
All in all I feel over charged for service level received, and don't plan to return.

How much $ for transmission pan and filter service for automatic ford focus ses 2008 4 cylinder

The service technician was friendly. The the service it's self was quick. I was however suprised that after paying 150$ for a service to be asked if I wanted to BUY a jug of winter windshield wash. I would have expected a free top up.

Sat in front of one of the garage doors for an hour and a half, while watching the other two bays take 3 cars each, all of whom showed up after I did. Terrible service! I will never be back to this location or a jiffy lube in general.

EDIT (1 week later) : as you can see from the response left from the “owner”, they suggested I email head office to further discuss. The sad part is, (and I guess this is the exact reason this place has terrible customer service) I emailed a week ago, and received an automatic reply saying they would respond within 48 hours.still nothing.lol! What a joke of a business. Avoid this place at all costs. On top of this, I have an issue going on with something related to my rear tires. I have an appointment booked for a mechanic, but I find it very coincidental that the issue just started happening after my visit to jiffy lube.never again.

Hour wait, mechanics made me call owner for oil change, the used a impact gun on oil drain plug ruining threads in pan costing $1000. Go at your own risk I guess, horrible service.

Although they were not qualified to do the work I needed done the guys bent over backwards to find my problem and then recommended where I should go.
They were awesome taking the time it took and never charged me for their efforts.

I've had my Truck serviced here since this store openex. Had my truck serviced on Monday September 9 I asked the technician who worked under my truck if he had checked the transmission fluid level he told me "I don't do them when the vehicle is hit". And that I should bring my vehicle in when it's cool, I asked how would I go about doing that, he replied to bring it in in the morning and come directly from home which is exactly what I did.
Imagine you go there to get your vehicle serviced and they can't check the transmission fluid level on a F150.
I'll never be back.
