I only discovered this place a few months ago ("How did you not know about this place? We've been open 45 years!) and have probably been at least once a month. Delicious, affordable food; my dad and I each got a pop, I got the cheeseburger deluxe with fries and my old man got the chicken noodle soup and chicken salad sandwich. All in pre tip it was under $29.00

Quintessential maritime diner. Breakfast and lunch served in a cozy neighborhood restaurant. Good food and bottomless coffee mugs.

The best. Affordable prices, good food, warm family-run atmosphere. Can't be beat for that price. It's my go-to spot.

Service and food always very good and reasonably priced. Great service as usual, bit of a wait for our breakfast orders but when everything is cooked fresh that well worth the wait!

We love Johnny’s. It’s a family run restaurant that makes you feel like you’re part of the family. Food is great, like my mom’s home cooked meals.

Fish and chips were some of the best I've had. Super convenient to grab a bite if your kid is practicing hockey at the Forum. They are located just across the street!

It has been owned, run, and staffed by the same family and approximately half a century.

Breakfast, ordered eggs over easy, wide ordered eggs over medium. We got one of each our plates, sausage was over cooked to the point the knife could only crush it. Toast was burnt for all 3 orders. Grandsons cinnamon toast burnt and worst ever seen. And slices of potato 5 on each plate supposed to be hash browns absolutely disappointing visit. Will not be going back there again for breakfast for sure.

Completely awesome spot for lunch. Burger is amazing and probably the best club sandwich in Halifax! Highly recommend!

Classic family run dinner. Relaxing comforting and tasty. Is top three favorite burgers in town.

Wonderful people to talk to. Great great food. We visited their restaurant 3 times, making sure it was our last stop before we headed to the airport.

Amazing place if you are looking for old school diner vibes. Their breakfast was exactly what I was craving, and it hit hard! I Have been there multiple times, and have never been disappointed. Thank you for keeping it classic, I will come visit again soon!
