Don’t bother calling to do takeout or through nisheats. Once they pick up the phone they yell at you saying they’re busy then hang up without another word.

Scott is always our server and what an absolutely beautiful human being the food is amazing and I find the eggs Benedict to be the best in antigonish

Breakfast with my daughter and her rowing mates post practice. Food was awesome. Freshly cooked, hot and not overly seasoned so you could actually taste the food. I had the fish cakes - as one would eat when on the east coast, with jalapeno toast. Lovely combination of flavours. Friendly, happy staff.

Absolutely love coming here! I've had breakfast and lunch here many times, and I have never had bad food or service. The servers (although usually busy) are kind, attentive and very friendly. The food is amazing, I'll definitely continue to come here when I get the chance. We stopped in for a bite to eat around 12: 30pm on a friday. The place was busy but we got a seat with a very short wait. My husband had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy, cooked perfectly. I tried the quesadilla and salad which was delicious. I have stopped in here for bread and desserts as well. The cheddar jalapeno bread is my favourite.

First time going to this restaurant. The food was fantastic, staff super friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I'm 100% going back. They have a baked goods area also and I got some bagels which were super tasty and the price was right. Totally recommend

A beautiful breakfast place. Most importantly about a good breakfast place is good coffee. They have lovely coffee. Food was awesome and server was friendly and on the ball.

Sadly I didn't get our server's name, but he was funny and super efficient. The coffee was strong, the wine delicious and the butter tarts superb. My father's was one giant raison and mine was walnut and maple and delicious! Can't wait to return.

If I could have given negative stars, I would have. Menu looked ok but after having waited for close to 2 hours and watched 3 tables that arrived AFTER us get their food, we decided to leave. We were told that it was busy, which it was, but if you show up for breakfast and are still not served at lunch the problem is beyond just being busy.

I believe it's rather ignorant to assume guests are willing to wait that long. Perhaps close down the patio during "busy times" so you can handle the volume.
We had a cappuccino, which I don't recommend (too hot and scorched milk).

When seated with water. We were told that they had a group of fourteen in the patio area and we had to wait for their menu's as that's all the restaurant had. Never asked if we wanted any drinks.

After getting the menu's and placing our order, we noted the table next to us ordered and then wait a bit and left as well as another table get up and leave. After a bit a fella sat at the table next to us. I felt embarrassed and I also felt it was necessary to inform him of what we witnessed and for him not to drink from the water glass where he was seated, as it had been drank from.

During the wait there was no contact or eye contact from staff. The gal serving the fourteen would walk right by us with only two plates every 10 minutes or so. How big is their grill?

After receiving our order, I asked why the two hour wait? I was told, "I told you we had a group of fourteen on the patio. "

When we got the bill she gave us 15% off the bill. No tip deserved here, but with a credit card the least listed is 15% LOL

This is a sinking ship, unless something is done and done now.

Was there for a good breakfast, but what stood out was our server. He was very attentative and so friendly. He was our bread efficianado and recommended some awesome flavors in which he went back to the bakery to get 2 loaves fresh out of the oven! We came from Ottawa where we were use to paying more for bread that isn't half as good.

We had a great time! The staff were really nice and the food was delicious. Fluffiest pancakes that I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back to try the sandwiches when I'm in town next time.

Awesome. AWESOME! So glad we stopped here! Not a crumb left on our plates! Bagel and eggs and bacon with home fries and multi grain bread.
