Kayak Halifax

Had a beautiful day on the water yesterday with relatives from away. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and told great stories. Really took time to make sure everyone was comfortable. Well worth the cost and then some. Highly recommend!

It was my first kayaking experience ever and I loved it! We were lucky to have Ed as our instructor. He gave clear instructions on what to do and how to operate the kayak. The scenery was marvellous! We’ve seen 4 seals though the water was pretty high. We’ve also seen some fish jumping out of the water which was fun! What I loved most was local stories and history Ed shared with us. We didn’t only enjoy the kayaking, but also learned something new for ourselves.
Absolutely great experience and I would love to do it again:)

Had a great guided tour. I went with my sister and brother in law and had the best time. They had never kayaked before, but by the time our tour was over, they were ready to buy some. Ed was very informative and helpful. Thank you for the great day Ed.

What an amazing experience! We met Ed for a morning tour around Halifax and Seal Cove. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about so many different topics. Before we even got in the water I was learning kayaking tips that will stay with me forever. This made me feel confident while out on the water, and I was able to really enjoy the experience. Ed shared so much cool history about Halifax and sea life. I definitely recommend booking a trip with him!

This was a great kayaking experience. Our guide, Ed, was very knowledgeable on both kayaking and the local history and geography of Halifax. He certainly put the entire group at ease and made the experience relaxing as well as engaging. We had a great time exploring the Northwest Arm on a gorgeous afternoon.

Ed is the most wonderful tour guide we have ever had.our first guided kayak tour turned into an amazing experience. His trivia and knowledge about marine life and some of the local spots and his hospitality is really amazing.the tour was easy to reserve online and we got timely updates from Ed before the tour regarding weather updates and how to reach the lodge.

Incredible experience. Ed is a worldly, kind, and calming presence who gave us a sunset tour full of history and stories. The most beautiful night on the water, saw seals and amazing houses and yachts.

When we had an emergency the night before, ed was kind enough to rebook us for the sunset tour and I absolutely recommend. A lovely way to see Halifax, and he truly embodies the kind and happy spirit of the people here. A must do activity if you are visiting this lovely city.
