I phoned in to see if they would price match an item, the employe told me
absolutely it just needed to be the excat same item with matching codes. When I arrived they would not match the price as the item i wanted to price match at Rona was not in stock at the closest store. This was not an online sale only item. The woman at customer service was rude, i asked for a manager who did absolutely nothing and informed me i should check the website for price matching rules. This is why i phoned in first in the first place. We ended up putting all of our items back and don't plan on returning.

Check anything you buy from Kent carefully and preferably before you leave the store, especially items inside boxes where the condition is not readily apparent.

Visited for end of season plant sales. Happy Kent stayed open a bit longer than other places as gardening really goes all season.

Customer service in the New Minas branch is absolutely first rate. Stores on the whole have a wide range of products and are competitively priced.

I have shopped here on a regular basis and the staff have been extremely pleasant and friendly. I have had to make a couple of returns and the process was quick and painless.

They work well but the handle on the black edge one sucks handle is in the wrong bend see why it was on sale beware

Went there tonight to purchase a flag for my father in law And also a few other products. Was followed around as if I was a criminal. Went to the check out and paid for my purchase. Was informed
By the cashier that it is mandatory to check my wife’s purse. Allowed them to check. Because we had nothing to hide. Them the cashier and three other young employees continued to follow myself and my wife out the door as if we are criminals. When to my vehicle and returned and asked for the manager. Spoke to her and feel as nothing had been done. This is not right

After being into other local stores looking for items to make a project work (needed to think outside the box to find something to work) with no success i decided to try Kent. To be honest I have only stepped foot into the store once before. I approached some guys at project desk and explained what I was attempting to do. Two immediately starting thinking of suggestions, one heading to a section looking while the second took me to a 3rd associate Aaron and we explained to him what I needed. He immediately started brain storming and we went section by section finding different pieces that could work. He spent a great amount of time listening and helping with each part. I was beyond appreciative of all the help as well as the time he took to make sure we found what could work also without breaking the bank
Kent has gained a new customer and Aaron deserves the recognition for ensuring I will be back for future project needs.

This store was okay until I tried to order a product via the project desk that was not carried there. What a bunch of clowns. Disorganized and out to lunch. We have called to inquire about the order several times and they either fail to put it in, or fail to receive it. And if you do get something in, nobody knows where it is!
You need new project desk staff [to oversee orders from the city].

Extremely poor service today. Challenged them because shelf price was $3.00 lower than scanned price. Very rude manager 'john' seemed unfamiliar with scanning code of practice and thought I was being unreasonable for pointing out that they had overcharged me and I had done all the legwork and spent my time while I got them to refund me the difference and what was my problem? Won't go out if my way to shop there again.

I must say that my experience while trying to shop for home improvement supplies at Kent New Minas today was rather unpleasant.
While looking for supplies I noticed a senior at the paint counter an appeared to me to look like she was growing impatient waiting. I also needed assistance and I was looking around to locate an assistant when senior citizen stated she believed more staff needed to be hired. I said I was going to see if I could have someone paged to paint department if possible. I must say cashier was very polite and kindly paged on intercom for assistance from paint department. Upon my return to paint department I spoke to senior and said someone has been paged.
My husband then ask me to look at something with him at another section of the store. An employee did approach my husband an I. I stated that we no longer required assistance (my husband and I decided to go to Home Depot instead), but a senior was awaiting service in the paint department still. Employee stated that two people were working paint department but they must be busy with other customers. I seen a total of 4 people in the store. My husband an I included in this total. I said, “ok”.
Upon leaving I seen senior still awaiting service at paint counter. I said, I was told there are two people working paint department. ” I was rudely interrupted by a store employee. Store employee loudly and rudely said, “ it happens to be one person working this department.and others are busy! ” Other employees were sitting down chatting amongst themselves.
My husband an I chose to leave the store and shop at Home Depot where we always receive professional and outstanding service.
I believe employees should be more polite to customers. There is enough chaos in the world. We do not need rudeness to go with it.

Beautiful new store, wish they had more product as Home Depot is just up the road. Good prices on sale items. I bought seaweed compost at 1.50 a bag, nice deal at the start of the season, when we need it most. Bought a Shelterlogic greenhouse a couple weeks ago for only 150.00, nice to have the support very early in the season for us who want to grow our own food.

Service there had been excellent in flooring n counter top as well as sinks n accessories. YOU know when you go in to Kent one would expect to spend money to get back over $200.00.flooring went on sale i purchased a few weeks ago.they suggested i take my receipt to customer sevice.no questions asked just refunded me the sale differents i was pleased with the proffessial sevice by all.
