Right on the water. What a beautiful place to camp. Host and wife are super nice. We would love to spend a summer here!

Loved our time here. Our site was on the hill over looking the water. So beautiful. We walked to the other end every night for the sunset. Beautiful

Well run campsite. It's kept very clean and the best views ever. Washrooms are great as are the showers. Close to Peggy's Cove and great restaurants

An amazing view, one of the best in Nova Scotia! Excellent service from the owner, bathrooms and showers (free) are very clean, soap and dryer all there and working! Would recommend and go back anytime!

À part de la vue de l’océan, on voit que les propriétaires n’ont pas d’intérêts à investir dans ses lieux. Les douches fonctionnent à petites gouttes. Oublier pas vos 25 cents. Le propriétaire est un vieux monsieur. Il est menteur faite attention! On nous avait promis un site près de l’océan (on est 2) mais arrivé sur site, il nous a dis que le site était réservé pour les familles. On a aussi fait un feu de camp le soir. Le propriétaire est venu à minuit avec une chaudière d’eau. Il était très agressif en nous mentionnant qu’on devait aller se coucher. Il a lancer l’eau sur le feu de camp. On lui mentionne que c’était pas indiqué sur les règles du site. Il se foutait des règles. Très manipulateur comme monsieur! Lorsqu’on paie, il vient pour nous guider en nous mentionnant explicitement ou on devrait stationner notre roulotte. Pas agréable comme séjour!

This is the most stunning campground I’ve ever been too! Beautiful water views! We are only here for a night but I wish we were staying all week! Also, the owner is so kind, he helped us back in our trailer as this is our first trip and we were worried about it! Absolutely must come here and stay more than one night! Playground for kids too!

Très mauvaise expérience. Le couple propriétaire est très rigide et désagréable. Nous n’avions pas d’emplacement de feu et le monsieur nous dit de faire des feux chez nos amis car nous avions un couple d’amis près de nous.
La dame a crié après les enfants de notre couple d’amis. Aucun remerciement au départ, aucun salut. Ils prennent l’argent et c’est tout. Pas d’investissement sur le terrain. Je ne recommande PAS.

Beautiful views of the water. Owners are so friendly and helpful. Tent sites are grassy and close to the water but really close together. Good place to stop on our way through though.

Hurricane Fiona hit Atlantic Canada and our little rd of 5 homes were left without power for an extended amount of time. King Neptune reached out to help and we took their offer for hot showers. Joyce met us with free quarters. I'm from Port Aux Basques, it felt like home. Thank you so much for caring

Sadly just left a magical campground after an 8 day stay. I challenge anyone to find a better backdrop to parking right by the ocean and looking out. Incredible sunsets and the site is so clean and tidy. Further you will also be challenged to find owners more helpful or accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality.

45$ for a site whitout water and electricity! Of course only cash. The view is the only good think in this campground.
Do not recommend. Prefer go the i site car park or Peggy’s cove. Nice view, washroom and calm.

Very expensive, sites are very very close, dump station in the middle of some sites, not level at all. Peggy's cove allows overnight for RVs, large parking. Next time.

Owner is wonderful and generous. He walked us to all available sites for our equipment, gave me a hose regulator, helped me back into my site, accepted to refund a night when we had to leave early.
The view from site 15 is incredible!

L'emplacement est incroyable!
Mais 45$ pour un terrain avec seulement l'eau c'est cher. Les toilettes et douches datent des années 50, c'est épouvantable! En plus les douches sont payantes, c'est quasiment un scandale!

My family Stayed there for the weekend and even though the views were amazing it didn't make up for the horrible service.

The weekend started off odd when I saw the owner chase down a CAA truck that was was coming in to help a neighbor because they locked the keys in there door.

Later that day we had a friend come for a visit and was told very rudly that they were not allow in to visit, even though there website makes no mention that visitors are not welcome. They did allow them to stay for 2 hours only because they were full and could not add any more capacity. (We actually woke up the next morning to many empty sites) On there main page on the internet they says they are owned by 6 generations of family and they look foward to welcoming you.but not visiting family. We asked if the person could pay a Day pass fee and was rudly told "no"

We as a family camp alot and the price is the highest we've paid.as well the WIFI was horrible so if u are traveling from away don't guarantee on good internet service

Let's just say this visit is our last there.

They don't have clean water to use (it seems their water contains virus or something and wait for the government testing result?), then it is very inconvenient. We have to buy bottle waters from supermarket for everything needs water, such as brushing teeth, wash vegetables, fruits etc. Not a good experience. But their site location is good

5 minutes from Peggys Cove, beautiful views, owner super nice guy, price very reasonable. Sites are a little close together but you meet some very nice people.

One of our go to campgrounds. You can't beat the seaside sites.love, love, love this campground and it's only minutes from our home

Absolutely beautiful campsite and the owners are so nice and helpful. There is one area where campers are a little packed in but we got lucky and we’re on the other side with a beautiful view of the water. There’s a playground and you are able to get in the water from the site. Our kids had a blast.

Had a very bad experience at this campground! I will never return. Owners are very very rude. Went there for a family weekend and had to escort my cousin out, she was coming to visit and have dinner with us and was told it would put a strand on their washrooms.
We asked nicely if we could pay a day pass for her to stay, they rudely said “No”
It’s very sad to me because what our world has gone though and now we are trying to get back to some type of normal. That weekend was a complete embarrassment: (

Super friendly spot to use as your base to explore Peggy’s cove and lunenburg. Facilities were clean and the price was right.

Awesome Service. The owners are very friendly peaceful camp not loud like others THIS IS OUR NEW CAMPING SPOT. Not one bad thing to say about it.

Extremely disappointed. Washrooms are dirty. Water is undrinkable. One toilet out of order. One shower out of order. The homemade plumbing system looks like it's 40 years old. We were told to not drive our tent pickets too deep as it could hit a water main and he didn't know where they were. Picnic tables are in bad shape. Camping sites are small. Fire pits are full of garbage. Dumping station is right in the centre for everyone to see and smell. If it weren't for the close location to Peggy's Cove, there wouldn't be any campers. One of the dirtiest places I have seen. Owners are moneymakers who want to pack people in without too much investment. They should see how other campgrounds are instead of bragging about being 4th generation. If you have an RV, go somewhere else for the night. Never again! Everyone

Wonderful campground. Owners are excellent, views are fantastic. We don't stay in many private parks as we try to stay in Provincial parks but very happy to support this great family. When we make our way back from Ontario we will certainly stay here again.

This is very nice campground. Quiet with clean facilities. Most campsites have excellent views of the ocean. I noticed the people who only stayed a night or 2 got the best sites.
We drove all the way from Niagara Falls ON to camp on the ocean and our site was a little disappointing but everyone else seemed to have excellent views.

Amazing campground. The location is truly unique and the owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. Hands down, the best camping experience I have ever had.

I loved the camping. The bathroom was super clean, the place had the most amazing view. The owners were lovely. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

A very nice campground right on the ocean. Very well maintained. The only downfall is that the sites do not offer any privacy.

We stayed 3 nights here.overlooking the ocean.we could have stayed the whole trip here.it was that amazing. Nothing fancy here, but the views are outstanding! Minutes to Peggy's Cove, 1/2 hour to Halifax and 1 hour to Lunenberg. We will absolutely be back.

Terrain trop petit pour trois services, pas le droit de faire de feu, pas de buanderie, bloc sanitaire ordinaire…. On est allé ailleurs et bien content de ne pas avoir fait de dépôt qu’on aurait peut-être perdu

We were extremely disappointed at this campground. We made reservations here 1 year out for a 38 foot travel trailer for 1 week requesting 3 way hookups. We have camped for many years in the US and have thoroughly enjoyed camping here in Canada as everyone here has been so nice. We arrived right before the office closed and it was night time. This owner was about as rude and nasty as we have experienced in our many years of camping and certainly the worst in Canada! We were shocked at how rude the owner was and then came the lies. When we arrived the owner said there was not a 3 way site available. I asked him why and he said we only booked for 4 days. Lie #1 was when he said that we only scheduled for 4 days because we clearly confirmed our reservations that clearly stated 1 week and he said they would try to get us a 3 way since we were staying so long. (I have attached a screen shot of that email). After talking with him about needed a 3 way magically a 3 way came open (Lie #2). After putting us in a (pull thru) site we noticed the next morning that there was no way we could pull thru the site as it was bunched up on other campers and no room to turn around. (Lie #3). The next morning we noticed how TIGHT all of the sites were (photos attached) and there was absolutely no privacy. Our "view" when we walked out our steps was of the dump site and showers. (Photos attached) There was also zero accessibility to the water. You had to walk thru other people's sites to even stand there and look at the water. So they may advertise as waterfront (they are) but only the campers that are on the water have any kind of access. We were so disappointed with our experience here we spent one night and left the next morning. And in true fashion at how rude the owner is, as we were trying to leave he starts yelling at us (in front of the other campers) and gets mad that we are leaving. I would NEVER stay here again. It's bad enough to have such a rude owner but even the campsite was run down and extremely tight sites. Not relaxing at all!

King Neptune was a perfect spot. Small, quaint Oceanside campground with spectacular view. It sits on a picturesque cove only a short drive from the lighthouse.

Hosts were very friendly and were a huge help when we had a flat tire in the am. Owner had a compressor and bailed us out big time. Saved a day of our vacation!

Cash only may be bothersome to some but the overall cost was very reasonable in part because of this policy.

Stayed here 2 nights. Lovely spot right on Yankee Cove. Most sites have wonderful views of the water. It is an open space though so no privacy. Our RV site did have a picnic table and fire pit (they sell bundles of wood on site for 5$). Owners were very friendly and accommodating even though we came in late (past 9pm which is closing time). Also less than 10 minutes drive to Peggy’s Cove!

What an amazing location. Right on the shoreline with almost all sites having an amazing view of the ocean. Washroom and showers very clean. Amazing friendly staff. Very accommodating. Easy drive into Halifax. 6 min from Peggy's Cove. Grassy sites with firepits. Thank you for such a wonderful time on the campsite.

Very close to Peggy's Cove and the owners are awesome. It's a no frills campground with a great view! Book the sites backing onto the water.

We camped here from Aug 6th to the 14th this year. Our sites were amazing! Showers are clean and hot. You can adjust the temp to your liking. Grass was freshly cut and the sites were clean. Beautiful view of the harbour and ocean and Reyes fish market is a 3 minute walk away. $ were fair. Above all customer service from Paul and his wife was exceptional. They were friendly and informative. We enjoyed kayaking, sups and even did some surfing at Martinique beach.

Petit camping avec magnifique vue sur la mer. Beau coucher de soleil. Bon prix et près de Peggy's Cove (5 minutes). Propriétaire sympathique. Points négatifs: terrains avec 3 services petits, pas de buanderie, wifi fonctionne seulement sur les téléphones mobiles et est fermé de minuit à 7h, certains terrains sans rond de feu, pas de barrière à l'entrée et pas toujours de présence à l'accueil du camping si tu as des questions.

We spent a night here and had a wonderful experience. The owner of the campground was friendly, helpful and extremely nice and hospitable. The views amazing. Just down the road from Peggy’s Cove and the Lighthouse.

The campground is small and has a beautiful view. Not overly crowded. The people are very friendly. One of our favorites.

We were scheduled to stay with you tomorrow and Sunday night. We're hoping Dorian passes by quietly and we can still spend Sunday night in your beautiful location. Be safe!

Amazing place for 40 bucks Canadian. Outstanding camping right on the water. Fall asleep to waves crashing on the shore.

Awesome location. Right on the edge of a rocky cove, sun setting over the bay. No playground or swimming pool just serenity. Great restaurants less than 10 minutes.

Loved how close this campground was to peggys cove and that it was right on the water. Very beautiful view. However sites were not super private and were fairly close together. Overall great stay though.

Great great great. Thanks for the relaxing time. My only hope was to have ice cream one night and the closest was a good ways down the road. Yes i would come back. Loved it. Again thanks spot 18 is just one of the best.

Lovely place. The old lady that lives it the house is very rude.and was terrible to my 7 year old daughter.

Fantastic location! We got to choose our unserviced site and found the perfect spot to pitch a tent right by the water. Friendly service and clean facilities. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to stay near Peggy's Cove.

This is the most amazing camp ground we have ever stayed at. The heart of the campground, Joyce and Paul, are amazing people. They are so family oriented, and go way out of their way to do whatever they can, for campers, or, for that matter, anyone.
We have camped in Europe, and coast to coast in Canada, and this is, by far, our favourite campground. You will never find a friendlier, more helpful place to camp.

Family owned business that converted their property to a camp ground. The location is beautiful in a little cove on the ocean side. Its a small camp ground and they have created the available sites from the land they have available. This isn't a KOA for city slickers, its for people who enjoy the pleasantry of neighbours, don't mind getting out the leveling blocks and enjoy great quiet picturesque location. The staff were nice and hospitable. Would definitely come again.

Having made our reservation for July in January, we were given the worst site in the campground.within 10ft.to the bathrooms with doors slamming and hand dryers running. And even though we were able to move to another site, we didn't feel treated well or respected.

Nice views, but tight sites. FHU sites are $40 as are just w/e.

Wow très bon camping le propriétaire est très gentil et accueillant nous aurions rester plus que 4 jours, car plusieurs choses à faire dans les environs

Nice level site, clean facilities and fantastic ocean views. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Très beau camping sur le bord de l’eau et un très bel accueil de la propriétaire. C’est tranquille et les chiens sont acceptés. Il est facile de s’endormir au son des vagues!
Les toilettes sont propres et les douches sont biens, exceptés celle du fond, où l’eau ne coule pas bien.
Faites cependant attention, les places de camping sont rapprochés et il n’y a pas vraiment d’intimité entre les terrains. Les espace sont fait pour 1 tente, je vous suggère donc de réserver le #50 pour le plus grand terrain sans service et le #56 pour le plus grand terrain sans service sur le bord de l’eau.
