Hosted a dinner for a very special couple last night. Service was excellent and the food very good. Pasta was quite good and highly recommend the charcuterie board with some of their wines. Not inexpensive but quite satisfying. Recommended.

First Visit. …. A delicious experience. Great food, service, music. Took a friend as a thank you for the angel she was when I was not well. We both had a great evening that will be repeated. Look forward to my next visit. Thank You for a memorable evening of fine dining.

What can I say but …. We finally made it here for dinner. We sat inside (reservations only) for our anniversary dinner after 48 years. We sat by the window and the whole time there I was killing flying bugs (mosquitoes, fruit flies, house flies.) It looked like they may have left the door open earlier in the day and let all the bugs in. Not my problem! I have to say the food was very good but definitely not near to the quality, taste or portion size for the large price tag. Our dinner was over $140 plus tip and my wife had 1 drink and I had Perrier. We shared an appetizer and had no dessert. It’s very unfortunate as we were hoping that we be coming back time and time again as we love good Italian food and the restaurant is within a 10 minute walk from our home. We can do just as good at home to be honest. The service and family ran atmosphere was great. I hope you stay in business but unfortunately we won’t be back.sad.

We were on our road trip passing through this town. The kids are tired of fish chips and lobsters, so we decide to have something classic. We saw this Italian place with good rating so we went there. The patio is great and inside is nice too. Although the inside is for reservations only as they say so.
We seat ourselves in the patio and the waiter came to serve us some water and leave us the menu.
10 mins later we let the waiter know that we are ready to order. He said a waitress will come in a moment to help us.
And after another 20 mins of drinking water, the kids became to hungry to wait. So we had yo leave.

So all I can say is the water is cool and fresh.
Oh by the way, the table next to us who came after us got to order before us.

The staff was so nice! Reservation recommended and only available by phone. The old fashion cocktail was a strength. Between my wife and I, my main course was great but we wished we had chosen another dish for her (the fettuccine red sauce just didn't hit the spot for her). Overall, we'd love to come back next time we're in town!

Last night I went to a charming Italian family-styled restaurant with son and a coworker. Adorable dining alfresco on the patio with soft music made the experience of sharing a meal and conversation to an ultimate enjoyable evening. Worth a visit anytime of year, but the patio makes it extra special!

The food was delicious and the Martini was terrific. What a wonderful surprise! Definitely worth a visit.

Consistently the best restaurant in Bridgwater, NS. The owner who is from Montreal will break out singing opera or other favorites. Menu is small. Food is excellent. We love this place and come with family and friends. Service is lovely, friendly and intimate

The food is some of the best in the Country, I have eaten all over Canada, CN tower, Peller Estates, etc Great Italian food.

Impeccable service, enchanting ambiance, and delicious food and beverage with beautiful presentation. Definitely the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Will be returning soon!

Go here, right away! Fantastic service and food. Cesar salad and ravioli was ridiculously good. The owner is absolutely lovely and had a beautiful singing voice.

I’ve been eating here since it opened. The dishes are generous and flavourful. They also have a great wine list. Just do yourself a favour and make a reservation. Also, enjoy their patio while it’s warm outside:)

Fantastic meal, and attentive friendly service! The owner himself, an amazing singer, serenaded the restaurant while we dined!

We have been there twice. The first time was shortly after it opened. The food was bland, the owner did not know what he was doing and we were very disappointed.

Two years later we tried again. Nothing had changed. The sauces were watery, pasta overcooked both starter and main had no seasoning and the shaved parmesan got lost in the dish. We told our server about this and promptly the owner came and challenged us on our comments. The main tortelini were prepared from store bought frozen tortelini which we sent back. Again watery tomato sauce consisted of blended crushed tomatoes no seasoning, no sofrito or mirepoix just crushed tomatoes heated without seasoning. It tasted like out of a can. We discovered that nothing was fresh and pasta was all frozen. The restaurant billed itself as "fresh Italian ".

When we sent our dish back the owner came back he told they could not make food fresh because "we don't have the time for that" and preceeded to tell us the the plate we sent back had been tasted by the entire kitchen and serving staff and they all said it was good.

We are done. We have eaten all over the globe and this gets close to the worst we have ever eaten.

After a long day of travel, we found this lovely restaurant and we had the best pasta I’ve had in my life! You could taste that the pasta and sauce were home made fresh and the sauce too, it was to die for! Tiffany the hostess and her daughter were super sweet and made sure we were happy. When I’m back in Nova Scotia, I would eat here again in a heart beat, absolutely delicious, wonderful atmosphere and very friendly people!

The food was amazing, and the service was even better! The owner took the time to chat with us, telling us about his inspiration for the names of certain dishes. We really enjoyed our meal.

What can you say about a restaurant that takes you away on vacation with their atmosphere, flavor, and dedication! The patio is so beautiful (and comfortable!), It transports you to your dream vacation. The menu is elegantly designed for your enjoyment. And the food! Oh the food takes your taste buds on a joyride worlds away with deep flavors, impeccable presentation, and a desire to order more than you can eat! Also, you know when someone loves what they do, when they care about your experiences at their establishment, you can feel the love for bringing people together with food and drink here. You must visit, and if you do, you will fall in love with La Casetta! Thank you for making me feel like family.

The homemade pasta is delicious I've only had one dish, the cheese ravioli, it was very tasty and the service was good too. The price was reasonable but higher than the other local restaurants.

Finally dined at La Cosetta. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was timely and cheerful. The owners exude a genuine warmth with customers. The four of us had different entrées and unanimously agreed they were good but the serving sizes were too big. The oil and vinegar for dipping was very tasty-sweet onion and balsamic reduction. Home baked rather than store bought bread for dipping would enhance that part of dinner. The house wine was more than drinkable and there is a good assortment of beer. For the prices, linen napkins would be appropriate and appreciated.
