Love this place. Only 20 minutes from Dartmouth and close to Fall River for anything you may have forgotten. Comfort station is clean, just be sure to check for TP. Quiet, friendly, and has a spot to watch the sunsets

Went with family and friends for night tent camping and it was amazing. Kiosk entry so check your email for code to enter as there is no one at the office if you arrive late. Bathrooms were clean, sites were maintained and garbage cleared periodically. Will go again and recommended for camping with kids. Maybe 1 downside is the train track being close if that bothers you, heads up. I didn't mind

Always a nice place to walk easy access, the road ways make easy walking. Great for dog walking. Restrooms are available. There are picnic areas and water access.
Scoop your pets poop.
Be well

Unsure why people can’t seem to keep their dogs on leash here when it is a designated on leash park. Pretty frustrating especially when they cannot recall or control their dogs. Do not recommend bringing your dogs on a walk here unless you wanna be harassed and barked at my off leash dogs.

It is ok not very big, but ok to camp over night.but beware of where you step, some don t pick up after their dogs.

What a lovely spot. Feels like a well hidden place only I know about. It's not as crowded as places like point pleasant gets. Barely saw anyone. A really good place for contemplation. Very quiet except when the train passes buy. Has lots of campsites too. Very beautiful in the fall. One of my favorite places in HRM.

A hidden gem of a park. Despite being very busy, it was very quiet. Sites are descent in size and ours had a path down to the lake. Comfort station is clean and the park itself is very well maintained. Staff were very friendly. A hidden gem not far from Halifax.

Very nice campground which met all our expectations. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The value for money was very good. Tha campground is 20 minutes from Halifax.

The camping spot itself was okay, but I was really disappointed that most of the amenities that enticed me to book here were out of service with no accommodation/alternative offered. No potable water, no hot water for showers, no access to the handicap/family washroom, and no access to the dishwashing station. To top it off our camping neighbors were disrespectful, loud all night, and left a horrible mess (not the parks fault but it was quite unfortunate).

I would likely not stay here again.

This park is lovely year round! We took our dog here for a beautiful winter walk (plus 6 in January). The best part about it is that because most of the roads are paved and the walking trails are crushed dust gravel with a small layer of pine needles on everything, my dog did not get full of mud! That is a huge plus this time of year. There were a fair number of families and people walking dogs. All people and dogs were friendly however the park is large enough that you didnt see many people. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Year round!
