The food was tasty, it was very good. The
waitress was very nice and pleasant but the food took way too long to serve. They need more cooks!

Took over a hour to get our food. We ordered the special, thinking it would be quicker. Burger was dry, over cooked.

Lefty's Signature Salad with chicken was delicious with the right amount of crunch from fresh vegetables. The tasty dressing left me wanting to share this review.

Good food. It’s our restaurant of choice in Upper Tantallon. Service can be a bit slow by times. The ambience is quiet and simple. A good family restaurant.

I am astounded by this place. It was packed, so that told us the place was good. A family of 4, two small children under 7 and my husband and I. Our server was lovely and our food was amazing. The spinach dip - was DELICIOUS! Everything was ordered was truly delicious. So impressed with this place for a family dinner go to.

Service was a bit slow, but it WAS crazy busy. Liver dinner for the win! Tender, generous pieces of liver with onions and bacon served with peas, carrots and mashed potatoes. So delicious!

Let me just start with I have never left a food review in my life but also being a cook I could not stop myself from leaving one.this place was so bad Would not recommend to anyone except my worst enemies the food was horrible I had the seafood chowder and the classic burger the seafood chowder was just white water with no seasoning what so ever and overcooked sea food and the burger was burnt and bland as for service my waitress was super friendly and accommodating so thank you for that at least DO NOT EAT HERE

Very friendly and inviting. Tried the frig off east coast ipa and it was great. Thank you for a pleasant experience. Will definitely drop by next time I am on the east coast. Thanks for the great service Alli

WOW! … The BEST food and service I have had in a while! … We ordered 1pc fish & chips we received a 2pc because they felt the 1pc was too small. The haddock was so fresh and so delicious. I also ordered the Nine Locks Dirty Blonde craft beer and was able to taste test before hand the staff are so accommodating and very friendly I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat! I will be back!

Great food, served pretty quick mind you it wasn't super busy. Only complaint at all was the fries were a little too seasoned. But the portions were massive and the food was great.

Lefty's is our new neighborhood go to. Great food and service. Lots of draught and a menu that gives something to everyone. We have eaten here three times with many more to follow. Try the bangers and mash, soup of the day, burger and fries (they are long and crinkle). Food I mention the service. The staff is warm and welcoming and they are pros.
The restaurant is dated but comfortable.

I'm sorry, Lefty's. I would love to have been able to give you a great rating, but my steak was very grissly, and my baked potato came out cold. Way over priced for what I got.

First time there for lunch.l was quite impressed the food was good and the service was great also pleasant atmosphere.

Leftys is an awesome family restaurant and bar, that has the most amazing staff! Always friendly to new customers or the regulars! Great community hub for get togethers, meetings or party’s. They have Really good food and cold beers, lots of menu choices, and comfortable seating.
Try the Irish nachos “ Kyle style “
Take the Irish nacho add beef, jalapeños and gravy on the side! Maybe not the healthiest option… but you only live once!
I highly recommend stopping by for this or any other normal menu item!
And they also do take out!

December 1/22. We had a long day on a flight from Alberta to Halifax. Our elderly friends picked us up and we decided to stop in at Lefty's (we'd had an excellent meal here for the first time back in September) We noted the website said 'open 'till 9: 00 p.m. ', however, we arrived at 7: 50 p.m. And found out the restaurant would be closing at 8: 00 p.m. BUT we were welcomed in, placed at a window seat and not once did we feel pressured to 'hurry up' from anyone! It made for a most pleasant evening all 'round! Thank you for dinner Lefty's, it was all delicious.again!

I very nice, cozy spot with a lot of locals. Food is like something you’d make at home, not anything fancy but it hits the spot. Service and company are great.
